The Detroit WHO in the Superbowl? BWAHAHAHAHA, I don’t think so! - not after what I saw yesterday.
The Buccaneers would chew up and spit out the St. Louis Lambs in a cruel 17-9 game … I look at the Lambs and I see a team that has had a rewarding schedule against weak and dying teams, and simply isn’t for real.
I see the same thing in Jax, RTA. They’ve had a lot of trouble against all the teams they’ve played who are anywhere remotely near good, not that there’s all that many of those, given they play in the AFC Central.
Hell, Jacksonville has seemingly only played one other team that will be going to the playoffs this year (compare that to say, the AFC East, or maybe the NFC Central to a lesser degree), and they LOST! They still have to play them again, too. We shall see how it all turns out.
Absolutely, drain – witness their struggles last night on MNF. Of course, they will have home field throughout, which should take them past a suddenly mediocre group of AFC wildcard contenders. Then they lose to the Colts in the championship game.
I worry aout the Colts, too, due to their youth at all of the skill & leadership positions on offense, but neither the rams nor the Bucs (who I see in the NFC championship game) have the veteran presence to take advantage of it.
Colts over Bucs, and I still have a blowout party!
The best lack all conviction
The worst are full of passionate intensity.

On MNF (Or was it ESPN’s Sports Center?), it was pointed out that Jax has played only one team with a winning record, Tennessee, and they lost by one point. Indianapolis played eight winning teams and has a record of 6-2.
Being a Cowboy fan, it’s all just an intellectual exercise for me, anyway. Dallas ain’t gonna make it, so, phooey!
Lions? No. Jax? Not after yesterday. And while the Rams may get to the Hyperbole, they still haven’t beaten any winners, have they?
Colts-Titans in AFC Championship, which will be the REAL championship game. McNair v. Manning, yum! The Hyperbole will just be an afterthought; the NFC might as well not exist, this year.
Not to mention, the Redskins will finish off the Lions on Saturday. As Kornheiser put it, right now, the Lions would even lose to the Christians if it’s a road game.
That’s OK, sly; five weeks ago, I would have said the Redskins had only a snowball’s chance in hell of getting into the playoffs, and would surely embarrass themselves if they got there. So what do I know?
I still say it’s going to be Sapp and the boys putting it to the Redskins. Then, the “A” train is going to roll right through St. Louis. Bring on the AFC.
