An article about a very successful charity bundle being sold to help people in Ukraine . If Mods for some reason feel this isn’t the right place of course you can rehome it.
Very cool, I just gave $20 for the bundle. They’re close to their goal of $5,000,000 already.
So that leads to the question, any good turn based games or simple mindless games?
You can use this link to display some of the games in order of Steam rating. Some of, because only the first 11 or so pages are games that are on both itch.io and on Steam and the rest are Itch only. There’s still some good Itch-only titles, of course.
Besides letting you rank them, it’s a little easier on the eyes to browse through them in this format (in my opinion)
Thank you.
I’ve been meaning to get Baba is you
Oddly, that is the first one I downloaded and it is fun. I just decided to post about it.
It is turn-based, but it certainly isn’t mindless.
Just how many games are there in this bundle?
Over 600 plus another 300 tiny Paper & Dice RPG games and other non-video game stuff.
It’s a very good deal for a very good cause from what I can see so far.
They might have added more (sometimes these get late entries) but at launch it was 595 PC/Windows games and then a handful of Flash or Android apk games. Then another 400 TTRPG things (many of which are one page rule sheets for tiny games, as noted) and game asset packs with graphics/models/music or game OSTs.
Using the link I gave before, you can select “Physical Games” and it shows 317 returns. 51 game asset packs, 34 literature things (stories/comics), etc.
Anyone know a comparison between these and the one in the Racial Justice pack from before? There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to show only the games you don’t own.
(I know it’s for Ukraine, but this isn’t the only such charity.)
I grabbed it. There is a lot of stuff in here, much of it I own already, but if there are only a couple of gems in the almost 1,000 total games it’s worth it. Plus I love that it’s going to help Ukraine.
This Reddit thread covers the better rated Steam games and if they were in the Racial Justice or Palestine Aid packs. That’s just a slice but those are the games most people probably excited for.
Looks like this Google Doc has the entire bundle listed with any duplicates marked
FYI, last day for this bundle. They’re closing in on $6mil raised.
New Ukraine Bundle through Humble. $40 but 122 items that are more polished or “traditional” quality stuff. Also Steam keys. Note some items are RPG books, etc. Not 100% PC games
Thanks!
There are some really good titles in there. Some of them being games I’ve had my eye on for a while. This is a really good deal. And, again, supporting Ukraine.
So am I…but the version in the bundle isn’t the full version; it looks like it’s just the BIY Level Editor. Or am I missing a way to download the “main” levels into it?
I’ve played the first few levels so I think whatever I downloaded was the regular version.
How do you get it to start? I click on “Start the Game,” but the three save slots all say “No Save Data,” and the only levels I can get are from “Get New Levels,” none of which appear to be from the main game. The first level in the main game is called “Baba is You.”
I think my initial download was corrupt somehow - when I downloaded it again, the full version was available.
…and is there something wrong with the board? When I try quoting, and then I save it, the quote immediately disappears and the history is marked as “edited once.”
