"Supreme Court gets Gore and Bush's briefs" headlines that make you laugh

I was just logging off today, when the AOL headliner was the one I printed as the OP, and it made me laugh out loud, finally the election has come down to these guys’ underwear!!!

Okay, NOT really, but it was still funny, what was the last headline that made you laugh??

I check into one of those “off the wire” news sources, and sometimes, all you get is the headline, no story. I found one that I thought was funnier than hell and forwarded it on to my friends/family.

The headline (no story): “Lawyers argue in Washington”.

A couple days ago there was one on CNN, something like “Study shows teen brains not fully developed.” Well, duh.

And last summer there was the enticing, “Are sleep-deprived engineers hurting the Internet?”

I just think it’s great that one of the most important court cases of the election will be Bush v. Palm

The Brunching Shuttlecocks website has a campaign scandal generator that lets you make your own political headlines.

Just thought I’d share.

If I remember it, I will type up the newspaper article I saved from last week entitled “Woman bites off man’s testicle.” Not for the faint-hearted…

Ewwww!!! Not for the weak stomached either!! That’s right up there with one that I saw in Sunday’s Atlanta Journal-Constitution, ‘Woman Attempts Murder on Husband, Husband wants her back’ HUH??

I kept thinking, ‘back where??’ So he can prove he’s a better shot???

Ah, people!

There was one story recently (last few months) that said "Alcohol helps astronomers date stars."

From the Barking Spider website (http://www.winn.com/bs):
English is a marvelously flexible language, much to the chagrin of headline writers everywhere. If any of these headlines seem reasonable, try reading it again in
a slightly different way!
