Helen definitely made the right move in voting with the guys. It was a simple choice between voting on emotion, or voting for tribal strength and unity. Still, she’s not a person I would have seen falling so easily into the role of “housewife” and meekly doing all the “women’s work” while the guys lounge around.
I’ve come to the realization that the only person on Chewing Gum that I like even a little bit is Clay. And not even that much for him. Just as well, I suppose, since that whole team is doomed.
I was pleased to hear in Ghandia’s final words that she at least realized (too late) that she’d made a big mistake in trying to split the tribe that way, and that her eviction was entirely her own fault.
Yeah! She seems to think all she has to do is work hard (which she did, this week anyway) and be smarter than everyone else (which she thinks she is) to win. She apparently has no clue that you also have to be liked.
I hate to say it, but I felt my Knobb-hate slipping a little this week. I think he managed to not be a jerk for an entire episode. I mean, he’s still a moron and an ass, but he’s not completely uncharming, sometimes.
Anyway, I’m now going to make my Final Four predictions, based partly on analysis, and partly on who I want to win:
Penny, Shii Ann, Jake and Ken. Final winner: probably not Shii Ann, which is who I want it to be.
You heard it here first.
