I wonder if Ozzy had watched Coach’s first season, when he claimed he wanted all the strongest players to go to the final TC. That would have been an interesting card for him to play when he was talking with Coach.
I hope they finish the Pagoning soon, so we can see Lil Hantz’s craziness when it starts getting to his alliance voting each other off. I’ve got a feeling we haven’t seen anything yet.
Was anyone thinking that Dawn was Brandon’s favorite for the same reason that he wanted to vote out Mykayla?

Yep, it was a nice way to minimize the tedium of inevitable votes. Hoping for another doubler next week so we can just get down to the one tribe and get the game going again.
I think they did the doubleheader last season too since there are three people on redemption post-merge.
I am curious how this will play out, given that Probst suggested that there will not be “multiple people” in a competition to return from Redemption Island… did I hear this correct? can anyone clarify?

I am not a R.I. like many here, but the one thing I really don’t like about RI is that they are Jury Members (at worse). And they Ozzie, and Keith didn’t get to hear Brandon make an ass out of himself in the second tribal council the other night. They probably already know he is an ass, but the 2nd tribal would have removed any doubt.
On Dalton’s interveiw with Probst, he basically said, it was more complicated than that, but hard to say in the interview before everything started.

The analogy that I wished Cochran had thought of at tribal, when facing the “we saved your ass, you lousy ingrate”: it’s like getting a stay of execution. But why was I on Death Row in the first place? My new tribe has given me a release.
If the jury has a bunch of Savaii members on it, then I want to sit next to Cochrane. Right now, there’s no way they’d vote for him. And it seems unlikely that he’d do anything to change that attitude.
The smart play is to assume a 3 person Final Tribal and to try and sit next to Brandon and Cochrane. Even I’d have to vote for Coach over those 2 (If I was a Savaii member)

this week is the only time that 3 of them can fracture from the other 4. Three plus Whitney and Dawn make 5 and a majority.
We saw a Upulo stress fracture a couple of weeks ago when Sophie/Albert wanted Edna out, and the others wanted Mykayla.
This week, Sophie/Edna should get Cochran plus Whitney and Dawn and vote out Coach (or Cowboy). You want to keep Brandon and Edna around for obvious reasons. Edna because she is worthless and Brandon, because he can’t win FTC.
I might actually vote for Cochrane over Ben. He’s the guy who would have engineered him getting to the final. And I dislike Ben maybe more than I dislike any other Survivor player, except Russell. But it’s a close call there!
I think Coach is a self deluded lunatic, but he is great fun to watch. Russell was also very entertaining.
Just think how boring Survivor would be if all of the players were serious, sane, honorable and focused.
The previews for next week suggest thatAlbert plots against Coach, and Coach finds out. I know the previews are often intentionally misleading, but it did seem like there might be something to it. This could be good news for Cochran, if he’s savvy enough to take advantage.
