There’s probably some insipid Christmas special planned for next Sunday. Not sure what’s wrong with this Sunday, though.
He also said this in his post-episode interview with Jeff Schroeder.
He also was asked about whether he could have given his HII to Jaclyn on the way out, or even while the votes were being read. He said that in the official HII rules, it states you can’t give the idol to anyone else at tribal unless you do it before the votes are read.
He tried anyway, slipping it into Jaclyn’s bag, but she can’t keep and use it.
Wait, Jeff Schroeder is doing Survivor interviews, too, now?
The post-show competition between reality-show “stars” for “how long can I remain relevant?” is almost more interesting than the actual in-show events sometimes…
Yeah, and he’s actually getting pretty good at it. Which is a massive improvement, because at first he was awful.
Note that he’s not doing a podcast; he’s doing the “official” post-episode interviews for CBS.com. (Scroll down to Survivor Live Replay.)
I’ll take your word for it (that he’s getting good at it). He was never my favorite half of “Jeff & Jordan” and I haven’t really been paying attention other than to make a face whenever they touted his interviews during BB promos.
Actually, last season’s finale was on a Wednesday as well, so that may be the new plan going forward.
This seems like an inconsistent ruling: I think Colton left or quit One World with an HII, but Jeff gave him the option of giving it away first.
What would/should happen if a quit/medivac happens to someone who has an HII or won individual immunity?
That sounds consistent to me because they weren’t at tribal council when Colton quit.
Someone who quits or gets medically evacuate with a HII should be able to give it to someone else on the way out. But if they won individual immunity, it largely wouldn’t matter since they typically skip tribal council and just count the evacuated person as the person voted out that episode.
