Any early guesses who walks away as the Survivor?
Any one you don’t want to see with the million?

I predict Chris.
Here is how I’d put it in terms of chances:
I’m rooting for Chris, Eliza, Twila, and then Scout. Only Scout would annoy me. She seems nice, works hard, she is just a non-factor in the challenges.
Last minute prediction
West coast poster here.
I heard a preview in which Mark said the ending would shock everyone.
So I’m betting Scout, and that would really piss me off.
Chris rules. That is all. Greatest change in Survivor history.
Well, that wasn’t much of a suprise. The end was just as boring as the rest of the show.
Completely disagreed. The first six weeks sucked. The past few have been undeniably the smartest and most fun in Survivor history.
I am so happy! I know it wasn’t really a shocker, but I’m thrilled none the less.
Was it just me or was Jeff downplaying Chris’ ability through out the whole reunion? He really seemed to be painting Chris is a bad light
My fiance picked the winner on the first episode, as he did with Rich Hatch.
Anyone wanna venture a guess as to the “shocking change” for the next survivor?
What surprised me was how they apparently saved all the drama from the whole 39 days for the final tribal counsel. That was about the only fun I’ve had all season, watching all that hatred and self-delusion. I don’t watch Survivor for challenges, I watch it for the head game, and the most fun of all is if the head game comes out in the open before the final vote, when all the recent bootees are still mighty pissed off.
But for the next Survivor?
Going to Palau – okay, I’m totally envious!
Wow, I might have to apply, based on that location alone. That’s high on my list of must-see places.
What was up with Jeff talking about how badly Twila needed the money. Did he actually say she was one of the worst off (financially) candidates ever? And that crap about working seven days a week?!?
According to her bio , she " currently works full time for the Missouri Department of Transportation doing highway repair. She also works part-time as a custodian for Marshall Public Schools and on the weekends for Brown Construction of Gilliam, Missouri, running heavy equipment."
Granted she is a hard worker - but, certainly she isn’t one of the worst off survivors ever.
Damn! If you don’t think a single mother working three jobs is bad off (financially), who would you consider more needy?
Well, he said she’s got three jobs and works seven days a week. And if she’s working for the state and as a school custodian during the week and for another company on weekends, sounds like seven days a week to me. What’s crap about it?
My bet is 20 survivors, one tribe, all individual immunities
Mama Tiger, I’d bet you’re too late to apply for S10. The next one will probably air after the Super Bowl.
Survivor 10 is already taping. They’re taking applications for the one after that.
Sorry, too late. Filming is suspected to already be complete. I read online they were expecting the Survivors to return to the states this weekend.
Ok, I haven’t watched an episode since one of the episodes with the big Koala-bear looking guy (and before that, I watched a final episode with some lady truck driver that had a mega-melt-down in the final episode) but a buddy of mine and I got back from sushi later than expected and he said “I can’t get home in time, so either you let me watch this, I’ll kill you.”
So I did!
Knowing nothing of the contestant other than what I saw tonight, etc, I gotta say
Just based on this episode–of the final two, she’s a mega-bitch but she’s an honest one with some self-respect. He, on the other hand, is a sleezy, unctous, slimey Eddie-Haskell-esque suck up who’ll say whatever it takes to get the money, including crawling and grovelling. Eew. I’d have voted for her in a sec. At least she was honest. He’s a creepy brown-noser. At least based on this two hour show. It’s entirely possible I’d have a different impression if I’d seen the other 12(?) episodes, but since I didn’t…!
Fenris
Filming ended December 9, with an early March airdate, as of now.
That pretty well shook out exactly like I thought it was going to.
I have nothing else to say. See you all when Pulau premieres.
How dumb was Eliza to be shocked - SHOCKED! - when she was voted off? DUH. Chris could have voted for Eliza, leaving him to compete for final immunity - always an endurance challenge - against two old ladies who everyone hated, or he could have voted for Twila, setting up a tie and possibly leaving him either kicked out of the game or competing against a more liked younger woman. Hmmmm…what to do…what to do…
That’s what I figured, but it still would be nice to get to go to Palau for a while. All expenses paid. Both my dad and my husband have been there and raved endlessly about it.
