That was one hell of an immunity challenge. I always think of the water-based challenges as the ones I’d actually be able to compete in, since I’m very comfortable in the water. But that was brutal to watch - Andrea’s last few attempts at going back up for air were so desperate and panicked-looking.
No one knows Malcom has a HII, so his asking for Reynolds’ was brilliant. Now he can play the “why would I ask someone else for an idol if I have my own?” defense.
Eddie’s a moron. Telling Andrea that she was getting blindsided was a bad move and it’s going to come back to bite him.
Can’t stand Dawn anymore - I hope her meltdown equals her exit from the game. The only “game” she’s playing is getting info from people who think she can be trusted, and then spilling the beans to Andrea and/or Phillip.
It’s just like Malcom said. Andrea is controlling the game, not Phillip. Getting Andrea out last night would’ve turned the game on it’s ear and Phillip would’ve been next.
Bad move by Eddie. Bad bad move.
Also, if and when he plays his own Idol, he can claim that he found it after Reynold played his (e.g., it was back in play)
I hate this particular immunity challenge. They’ve done it before. Watching people attempt not to drown is the stuff of nightmares. This challenge is more akin to torture and should be retired.
I can’t decide if Malcolm’s move was brilliant or stupid. By asking for and receiving Reynolds idol, he just exposed that alliance. Sure, he can go back to the Favorites and say he only did it to flush out the idol, but that still might not work. I guess he assumes he is safe since he still has his original idol and if he is targeted at next TC, he can just play his idol and get someone else out.
I’m betting it’s a safe bet Brenda doesn’t win the whole thing, though it would be pretty funny to have a winner who didn’t say a single word.

I think Malcolm made some bad moves (like talking to Dawn) to get to that point in the game, but that the move at tribal was pretty amazing. He talked a guy into giving him his idol as the guy was in the process of playing it. Since he has his own idol, he might be able to work it so that the Stealth R Us alliance starts to fall apart.
It’s amazing to me how silent she’s been in this cut despite making it this far, and even winning immunity. Especially since she wasn’t exactly a wallflower in her first season - she was one of the masterminds running the game before NaOnka went crazy and led a blindside on her for no reason.
Indeed; I don’t understand it at all.
I think a show called “Survivor” should focus on more chances to really push the limits of its contestants, rather than constantly coddle them every step of the way.
She’s had some awesome behind the scenes videos, I have no idea why they don’t air some of her confessionals.

Also can I just say that outing your own double agent takes the level of insanity in Stealth-R-Us into the stratosphere.
The show has barely been about “surviving” since the very beginning. I don’t find televised waterboarding to be particularly entertaining either.
But let’s be honest - if the show was still about “surviving”, it would have been off the air a long, long time ago. People tune in to watch the competition and plotting and social interactions, not to watch people sit around an island hungrily watching the fire for 16 hours a day.
I still wonder what would’ve happened to the show had Richard Hatch not figured out the whole “alliance” meta in the first season.
I thought of this plot. Because Philip said that if you have an idol you will be flushed and taken out, maybe Malcom thought that the focus of the favs will be towards Reynolds and so what he will do with him is to vote Andrea/Phillip and return the favor and give the idol to Reynolds.
Its the only way to break the favs alliance.
It would be perfect if Reynolds would win the imunity challenge but so far I dont see it.
