Well, since Michael got voted out last week - who cares who goes next?? I guess it’s worth watching Dawn implode.
And hopefully there will be some backstabbing good fun on the favorites side.

I’ve always liked Dawn. I hope her imploding is short-lived, despite what the previews suggest.
The commercials are promising the BEST TRIBAL COUNCIL IN SURVIVOR HISTORY. So, should be fun.
Dawn’s weepy act is getting old. It’s a game and you sent in an application to participate. It’s not like the government caught Dawn in a sweep and forced her to play.
Well, to be fair - Philip IS a special agent. So he could have caught her in a top secret nab and is holding her on the island for ransom. Apparently, she’s gone all Patti Hearst.
Cool tribal council.
I’m so happy with the vote.
That was awesome.
Yeah, I’m glad the way it worked out. I want Erik or Cochran to win.
That was interesting, but still doesn’t beat the TC where Parvati won the Immunity Challenge, cadged Russell Hantz’s HII from him when she was holding one of her own, then distributed both of the HIIs she had to Jerri and Sandra, respectively.
THAT was the best/craziest TC ever. This was close, but not quite there.
WOOO HOOOO…but poor Michael. In his ponderosa video, he said he didn’t want to hang out with the Special Agent.
Why in the Hell would FILLUP (lol) jump in that pristine pool with out rinsing off first. It look like a Poop cloud surrounding him from the overhead shot. Disgusting!
Maybe he wants to be Pig Pen in a Peanuts movie.
My vote for best TC was when Olympic Sprinter Crystal shouted her voting confessionalso every one could hear it.
And then Randy goes on to play a fake hidden immunity idol.
The voting begins about 6 minutes into the video.
Phillip was unable to adjust on the fly, sticking to “the plan” in the face of near certain failure. Didn’t cost his alliance a damn thing, they still just lost a single member. Shit, he could have announced a change in plan right there in front of the alliance to vote Dawn or Andrea, what could they have done?
Farewell, Phillip. You will always be a legend in your own mind.
I never saw that season - that’s hilarious. What’s the story on the fake hidden immunity idol?
You have to get a better quality than the youtube video. Randy’s face when he realizes it’s fake is classic.
I remember everything, alas, except for how they got the fake one to him. Sorry. Great season, though.
I kind of liked Randy.
There’s a better quality one 4:41 long that shows the vote, but I got it off the TV doing a “related video” search after watching the one above.
The guy who won that season was Bob, a High School Physics Teacher. He was kind of a McGiver type guy who would make things like Sundials from things he found around camp.
he collected the beads, bobbles, strings, etc. that came with tree mail and made a fake immunity idol.
That season was Corinne’s original season and she was aligned Randy in the “Onion” Alliance with two other guys who were already voted out. The alliance was flipped after the merge when Susie voted against them. What happened to Randy was particularly funny because he was really a nasty ogre of a man.
I do not remember how Bob gave the Fake HII to Randy.
By the way, Crystal was an Olympic Gold Medalist in the 4x400 m relay in the 2004 Olympics. She later admitted to using steroids and had to give up her medals. And she was almost totally worthless in the survivor challenges.
IIRC, Bob and Sugar were friends and Sugar did not like Randy, the aforementioned “nasty ogre of a man”. Bob had fabricated two fake idols and revealed them to Sugar. Sugar wanted some vengeance on Randy, so even though it was decided to vote out Randy, Sugar wanted some extra humiliation heaped on the ogre man. So she asked Bob to give one of the fake idols to Randy, which he did.
This puffed up Randy greatly and that’s why he was in a great mood as he confidently played the idol.
Afterward, Bob told Sugar that he did not like how she and the others laughed at Randy. Perhaps it was a bit of a mean move, but it made for great television.
Bob is still my favorite Survivor winner ever. Clever, hard working, thoughtful and obviously a great teacher.
Goodbye and good riddance Philip. He jumped in the pool while covered in dirt and then refused to even participate in the immunity challenge. An annoying asshole who never should have been allowed on this show once, let alone twice.
That was pretty good, and I’m glad Malcolm actually made a move even though its unlikely to really matter. I was trying to decide if he’s likelier to go farther this way or just playing an idol this week, and one the next time he doesn’t win immunity.
I actually think he probably gets farther just using them for himself and hoping to continue to win and/or find idols until something blows up in the majority. Then he has to win probably the last two at least just to make the finals (since nobody would take him to the end willingly). But now he’s basically in the same boat but without a backup idol…
Better TV this way, for sure.
