I agree it was the agenda, but IMO, it should not have been the agenda.
The agenda should have been to force a fracture in StealthRUs to see who was at the bottom of the pecking order so the Tres Amigos could recruit that person.

This is a game-winning idea for the Malcolm/Reynold/Eddie trio. Tears apart the majority alliance and (perhaps more importantly) gets you a jury member who is bitter with the remaining members of Stealth R Us, but not you.
For what it’s worth, Brenda had at least one confessional that was edited out and viewable on YouTube. Not that it shows she’s incredibly insightful or anything, but I’m wondering if she will be around for a while and will get more screen time then. Point is, she’s not a complete mute or void of personality.
As much as I tend to root for the underdog(s), I thought the IC was complete crap. Was there anyway anybody other than Reynold, Malcolm or Eddie was going to win that challenge? Maybe Erik, but that challenge seriously favored the bros.
While I think this is brilliant, it doesn’t account for trying to sway people to confirm their vote for Phillip in an attempt to save an immunity idol (or two). I think there was a sufficient amount of cage-rattling while keeping the door open enough for that to make a Phillip vote worthwhile.
Assuming everything that happened still happens, you end up with Phillip gone solely because Eric voted for him. So that should at least get you to 5-4 going forward.
More likely, if the 7 (or at least some of them) believe that you’re really going to “throw your votes away”, I think you get something like 2-3 votes for Phillip (Eric, Sheri, maybe Andrea) and a few votes for Andrea (Phillip, Brenda, maybe Dawn and Cochran). Maybe the remaining 6 can patch it all up and blame it on the bomb-throwers, but I’d have to think there are more “ins” after that than what they have right now.
Too bad they didn’t think of it (nor did I until notfrommensa’s original vote-splitting suggestion).
If all three had succumbed to the same over-aggressive endzone rush that did Eddie in, yeah, somebody else could’ve won it.
when Dawn had the breakdown, did she call for Brenda specifically or was she the only one who responded?
According to Corinne’s interview with Parvati inSurvivor After Show Web Cast, Dawn went into the forest to cry frequently.
After a 4 weeks of it, I am sure most of the people would just roll their eyes.
I can understand that, really. I’d probably do the same thing if I ever went on Survivor. It’s a brutal game socially and if you’re actually a nice person in real life, it’s probably absolutely traumatic to your psyche to have to do the things you have to do to go forward in it. Some people will be less able to handle that kind of cognitive dissonance and the stress it creates.
The point at which to question Dawn’s sanity is the point where she decided to actually come onto Survivor in the first place if she’s the kind of person who is damaged so badly by having to act like she has to to play the game.
She was specifically calling for Brenda. And everybody else was specifically not leaping to their feet and rushing off to see what a friend of theirs needed help with.
Was that shown in the episode? I don’t remember her calling her name
I remember seeing it during the episode; I’ll check again when I get home tonight.
Looks like Brenda’s got one solid vote if she makes it to the final 2.
I just checked, you’re right. They didn’t caption it, which I think threw me off.
