Survivor 4/22

The commercials are starting to look exciting.
Does Rob find out Amber is playing him?

Does Shii Ann make alliances and get the girls to vote off one of the guys?

And is it Boston Rob who gets the boot??? Stay tuned.

MUHAHAHAHAA!!! My volleyball game is not until 10:15 tonight so I get to watch Survivor again! It has been two weeks now since I’ve seen an episode. If not for you folks posting what happened I’d… I’d… I’d… well, I’d have a life frankly.

MeanJoe

I hope that we’re not going to be in for a big let down this time. The commercials always seem to blow it out of proportion. It’s been a long time since something has happened and my jaw dropped. Maybe even a season or two.

I think something big is going to happen and Rob is going to get the boot. I can hope, can’t I?

Good morning!
I wish I could say the smiley face is to indicate that Amber gets the boot. As it turns out, this is not the case. (At least, not yet.)

Early spec indicates that Shii Ann is, not surprisingly, headed for the chopping block. However, that same spec ALSO indicates that Shii might be staving off the vote tonight by winning Immunity. If that happens, the most logical boot-off has to be Alicia. She’s the only one not currently within the Rawbfadda’s sphere of influence, and don’t think Rob doesn’t know it.

So, for the first time in a LONG time, it’s a former Chappy that gets the axe. This is, for some reason, REALLY exciting to me. :stuck_out_tongue:
Well, I have to say, I’m torn. On the one hand, the only thing I’d like better than seeing Rob booted is seeing Amber booted. I can’t remember who said that she was an utter waste of flesh, and I totally agree.

On the other hand, in the Great Survivor Pool of 2004, Rob is the only person I have left. Rob goes, I’m out $25.

I’m just torn. sigh

Yep, that was me.

(Shocking, I’m sure. After all, I’ve been so non-verbal about my opinions of her to this point…)

I would personally be tempted to send you $25 if Rob gets booted.

The people who I don’t want to see leave tonight:
Rupert
Alicia
Jenna
Tom

And I’d be willing to chip in, too. Rob is evil and must be destroyed.

I really want the fargin’ bastage gone, but if he keeps winning, I eventually get $90. Oh, the irony.

Anybody who wants to chip in on my $25, I do have a PayPal account.

Someone mentioned in last week’s thread that we’re due for that “Player’s Choice” Immunity Challenge, where they break plates or something and sort of choose who doesn’t get the immunity…where it isn’t specifically a physical challenge or endurance challenge.
From the commercials I’ve seen, I think that’s what we’re getting this week, and boy, I hope they all gang up on Rob and break his plate (or whatever it is) boot his sorry ass out of there. He was soooo full of himself last week, sitting in the shelter with Amber like he was the King. Ugh, I just wanted to punch him.

Speculation would indicate Shi-Ann is out, since she’d the last Mogo, but for some reason, I don’t think she’s going to get Pagonged just yet. I hope she wins Immunity, and gets everyone to realize what a liar Rob is, and gets enough people to vote him out.

I don’t understand why Tom and Alicia are so loyal to Rob. That seems a little odd. Rob comes off as such a conniving schemer - I just don’t get why everyone has made deals with him. I guess they think they’ll look good compared to him in the Final Two, and they’ll get votes over him?

Fools, all of you.

It is inevitable that the Rawbfaddah will win the million dollars.

When you are winning every immunity challenge, you are doing well.

When you are playing against SHEEP like Rupert, Alicia, and big Tom, who will think they’re on your team until the moment they get voted off, you are well nigh invincible.

This show is becoming more and more pointless. I can’t remember the last time there was a satisfying Immunity Council, when someone who is dull, shiftless, evil, and smug, finds the vote has blown up in their face.

Beh.

I think the winner of the million dollars will clearly be whoever sits down next to Rob in front of the jury. Rob has shanked nearly every player that is or will be on that jury.

Clearly the best strategy is to get Amber voted off without Rob knowing you were in on it. This is easiest done with more rather than less players. Convince everyone to vote Amber off, vote against them, and make sure Rob knows it.

both of my pool survivors are gone, Lex being the last hope for my cash win - silly boy should never have trusted Rob of all people.

Yes … but it is very rare for someone to win every individual immunity challenge. In fact, I don’t think anyone ever has. And it is usually around the “Player’s Choice” challenge when the one who thinks s/he has it in the bag really gets it in the end.

Plus, hope springs eternal. I wouldn’t necessarily say that Rob is guaranteed the mil, either. Lex and Kathy are pretty P.O.'ed, and they might vote against him just for spite. I know I would.

And since we’re thinking about it, it’s just about time for the “standing on things” challenge. I always enjoy that one.

Not necessarily. If Rob makes it to the Final Two (God forbid!), he could always pull the “Survior is a game, and I was playing the game! You gotta give me that!” routine and manage to pull off a 4-3 win. The “Nice Guys” don’t always win on this one.

I’m hoping someone has the sense to get him out of there as soon as he loses an Immunity.

Me too.
There will be some celebrating going on in the misshouse as soon as he is voted off.

For the first time, I cannot stand ANY of the players who are left in the game. Especially Jenna.

I really want to like Shi-Ann. She seems like someone I would be friends with IRL. But she was annoying all throughout this episode. Alright, we get it! You were going to be voted out but now you’re not! I was glad she won that immunity challenge because it made the game less predictable (gotta give her some points for using the word “pagonging”). But although they deserved the vitriol, she should have been less in-your-face when she won.

Alicia has always been my fav. I felt sorry for her when she realized how her teammates feel about her, and empathized with her when she just said she wanted to be left alone. I would have totally forgiven her if she had pounded Jenna into the ground. I think she’s as just as strong and smart as her confidence conveys. I think people are just intimidated by a strong woman who doesn’t have flabby, Jenna-like thighs.

Jenna. Must. Go. Now. Ugh. She’s like a teenager who gets all loud and obnoxious because they think they’re cool and popular. But without Rupert, she’s nothing. And she’s taking the team loyalty thing too far. Why do people mistake having good luck for being a good player?

Rupert could have easily solved his quandry about the reward challenge. He could have gone to Jenna or Rob beforehand and said, "Look, you know we’re pals but I don’t want to be obvious with our alliance tonight. How about I give you the bowl of rice this time, but if I’ll make it up to you if I win another reward challenge? Or I can catch you two extra fish for dinner? " Then he could have let Tom have something besides a measly bowl of potatoes (bleh…that’s worse than the rice!)

They are so stupid!! I cannot believe it!
