I hope it’s someone from the core alliance. Honestly, I’d really love to see Mathew win the whole thing.
Alex. Rob will slide over to the “Offbeat Alliance” and turn against the 3 popular kids. Alex goes due to his physical threats.
Unfortunately, Heidi’s physical threats will still be on grotesque display.

I like the way you think. Out of those who are left, I would like to see either Christy or Butch win.
I haven’t decided yet what I think is going to happen with the RAHJ alliance vs. the outcasts (BCM).
As for the previews showing Jeff Probst with the mystery envelopes (“You’ll never believe what’s in here!”…::ooh…gasp:
and the crying episode between Heidi and Jenna, I predict that tonight is Family Night. The reward challenge is going to be letters from home, and then maybe surprise visits from actual family members. I wonder if they’ll continue the tradition of letting the family member of the winner of the reward challenge accompany them back to camp for a night. The last few times they did that, it’s been pretty lame.
I want Matteo to win it all.
I’d like for Christy or Matt to win. I do think everyone is underestimating Christy a bit. The only interesting thing about the stupid recap show was Christy talking about Dave after they’d spent the night dancing - She said something to the effect that she thinks he’s a great guy but he should have been paying attention to her from the beginning and not just the night before he might get voted off (I don’t remember the exact quote). At any rate, it made me think that she’s paying more attention than people think she is. Whether she’s got a real chance - I don’t know. I suspect not.
As to who I think really WILL win, every time (in every other season) that there’s been a situation like this, the stronger people have stuck with their alliance, regardless of how they feel, etc., and voted the weaker off first (everyone seems to have the mindset that if they re-align with the weaker people they’ll definitely get voted off, if they stay with the stronger people, they might find a way to stay longer). If the “cool people” stick with that strategy then Robb will stay where he is. If so, then Matt could get voted off first, then Christy, then Butch.

Yeah, I wish Mullinator’s scenario would happen too, but I don’t think it will.
My predictions:
I’d love for Christy to win…but I think there’s a very good chance she’s gone tonight. Heidi and Jenna can’t stand her, and they’re the powers right now. (How the hell did that happen?)
If Christy wins immunity, it’ll probably be Butch. Possibly Matt, but I think Alex and Rob will want to keep him around for a bit longer.
I have a feeling it will either be Alex, because he’s the last real physical threat, or Butch, because somebody might suddenly remember he’s in the game. I have a feeling Matt is going to go on a Colby-style immunity win streak, now that he seems serious about staying in the game, so I don’t see him going any time soon. He’s strong enough for the physical challenges and smart enough for the puzzles, which oughta be showing up prety damn soon, considering how many of them there were last season. This would also break up the Amazon Beach Party of Alex, Heidi, Jenna and Rob, which is obviously overdue!
I also don’t see Rob jumping ship and leaving the ‘cool’ alliance (although like most of you, that’s what I want to see).
Tonight it’s Matt. If Matt wins immunity (and I think he always has a good shot to do that) it’ll be Christy (sob).
In my dreams, however, Alex gets voted off, then Sticks & Twigs and Rob, leaving an F3 of Christy, Matt and Butch. But it’ll never happen.
I’m rooting for the underdogs to keep staying in the game. Butch, Matt and <ahem>Christy. Don’t want her to win, but her role as an underdog in this show will be what keeps me rooting for her.
It’s a 4 on 3 and the 4 in the majority (or the “cool” crowd of J, H, Al, R), are getting a pompous attitude around camp. Time for one of them to get the boot for acting like they won the game.
If the 4 stay intact, look for Christy to go, she was on the outside of the last vote and was the only one to back Deena by voting for Alex. This will mean that Alex will convince the Boobies to vote her way, and Rob wouldn’t have any beef of her going next…
I doubt I’ll be posting in the Survivor threads anymore. I will be reading it though. The Gambling fiasco about Survivor kinda made my view skewed and I don’t want to accidently slip a spoiler, or even try to unconsciously direct you dopers to the final two as I know it.
Well, let’s enjoy the show, and hope there is plenty of action left in all contestants.

Truly one of the best Tribal Councils ever! I love this show, and I love Rob. I think he’s probably one of my favorite Survivor contestants ever. He keeps the game interesting.
What did everyone think about the Jenna vs. Christy letter-from-home debacle? I totally sided with Christy. She obviously really, really needed to hear from someone she loved. I’m sure she feels totally isolated out there, while Jenna has her clique of “best friends” to hang with. What a drama queen.

Ugh. She’s such a bitch. I loved the way she managed to shoot the look of death at Christy multiple times through her tears. Don’t get me wrong–it’s definitely sad that her mom has cancer, but she treated Christy like crap ever since the first episode, and now Christy’s supposed to give up her letter? Yeah, right.
I thought it was a great episode. The immunity challenge was quite entertaining, especially when Jenna got so insulted by what everyone said about her.
We don’t need to put spoiler spaces in…the west coasters aren’t going to open this thread until after they see the show.
Jenna is just totally totally self-centered. She doesn’t consider anyone’s needs but her own.
I know her mother is ill, but she did agree to spend 6 weeks away with no contact. If Jenna was nice, I’d totally say that everybody should have chipped in to get her her letter, but she’s such an asshole, that I really don’t care.
They never considered that Christy might have needs, too.
And Jenna wouldn’t even have gotten her letter if Christy hadn’t agreed, but (as far as we know) Jenna never thanked her. She just thought she deserved it.
And what was up with Heidi bidding against her for the letter. I used to think HeiDDi was just really stupid, but now I’m starting to think that she’s actually borderline mentally retarded. Really.
And Jenna totally lied when she said (at IC) that she didn’t intentionally use her so-called sex appeal to curry favor. She said on the VERY FIRST SHOW that that was her master plan, and that she was pissed that the tribes were unisex so that her plan didn’t work.
Gah. I really can’t stand her.
Randoms thoughts…
Most in need of therapy - Matt. Heh. He seems like the most normal person there. I like him more and more.
Rob - Nice to see you grew some brains. Too bad you’ve doublecrossed everyone now. The only person he has a chance with on the jury is one of the boobsy twins. Everyone else is much better liked than he.
Twigs and Sticks. The word fugly comes to mind. oy… I’ve always thought Christie was cute, but now she is hot compared to the other two.
Oh, and Jenna is a selfish twat. I hope she gets eaten by a grue.
If Rob manages to win this game, he will go down into the Survivor annals as Best. Player. Ever. When they read the last vote I yelled “YES!” so loud I startled Mrs. Skammer.
However, as Rob pointed out himself, he’s not going to have many friends on the jury. He stabbed Deena in the back. Davie doesn’t like him. Alex, Sticks, and Twigs will vote against him. He might get the votes of Christy, Butch, or Matt, but only if he is up against one of the bitch twins.
This makes it really interesting down the stretch. Will Matt go now, as the biggest challenge threat? Or will everyone enjoy booting J & H first? I guess as much as I like Matt, you have to take him out if you can. Just don’t give J&H control of the game.
Speaking of J, what a total bitch and crybaby re: Christy. Christy won NO FOOD! She had all her money left. Maybe if you hadn’t spent $300 on peanut butter and chocolate, you could have won fairly. Instead you cried until Jeff caved (btw Jeff, way to make the best of an awkward situation). Classy of Christy not to complain.
Jenna is simply one of the most annoying people ever on TV. What a selfish, spoiled bitch. HeiDDi (that is great, Green Bean) appears to be melting like the guy at the end of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” for some reason. Perhaps silicone can’t take the tropical heat.
Like most other "Survivor"s I’ve watched, I am not rooting for someone to win, but rather for somone not to. I don’t really care who wins as long as it is not one of the Boobsie Twins.
On to tonight’s ep: I was SO glad to see Rob make the switch, even if it is probably not in his best interest. Mainly because I want to see Jenna flip out on him next week for the betrayal.
Finally, could you believe those 4 lounging around while the other three did the work!!! Man, had I been there I would have been awfully tempted to walk up and smack all of them, tribal council be damned.
