I agree. I actually picked her as a strong contender for the deep game. Of course, there are many people we haven’t seen playing yet.

I don’t think they should be taking the flint away from the tribes.
If there is both a reward and immunity challenge (and no tribe swap), the Green Tribe players that sit out the reward challenge will have to play the immunity challenge (and vice versa) via the rule that players cannot sit out two consecutive challenges (reinstated a couple of seasons ago)
Once again, if you ever feel SO SECURE that you know you won’t be voted off… Play the damn idol. You should never feel secure in Survivor!.
Again, I really liked the challenges. Both the ones for immunity, AND the ones on the Journey. I, for one, could never have come close to doing it, but 8 out of 20 was respectable.
I was happy Jem was voted off. She was overconfident and being mean to her team. leaving the note out, and watching her team waster hours and energy digging and getting stung or bit by ants? Hilarious 
. And she pushed to vote off one of the strong members of the tribe, rather than the weakest link- that would be Moriah, who appears to be useless in challenges. Mind you, I kinda like her.
Too bad the purple team won.
They know there’s maybe one more tribal until merge, no reason to worry about tribe strength anymore.
They dont “know” anything until Jeff tells them it’s merge.

Yes, because if you get voted off due to losing a team immunity challenge- you can not win the game.
People do not seem to understand that, and in the very first episode they made that very clear.
If you’re heading for a tribal shake up or merge, then that rule goes out the window. What if you keep the “stronger” player and they end up on the other team?
What if you are not? Just wait until the merge. Team after team has sabotaged themselves by voting off the “threats”.
Yeah, I usually don’t like long tribe losing streaks, but I’m ready for Kenzie to go.
I did find it quite hilarious that after all of Jem’s scrambling to get the idol and all her scheming to throw of suspicion that she had it, she went home with it in her pocket.
Didn’t get a chance to comment on last week’s episode… We’ve seen people eat live bugs, dead tarantulas, and eyeballs. We’ve seen the skin on someone’s hands melt off after he fell in a fire. We’ve seen a guy who was basically a sociopath get voted off without even going to Tribal Council because the rest of the tribe feared for their safety. We’ve seen a transgender person get outed on national television. We’ve seen injuries, mental breakdowns, and confrontations aplenty.
But Bhanu dropping to his knees and begging may have been the most uncomfortable moment to watch in Survivor history.
I was so happy to see the purple team win … if for no other reason than that we get to see some of the other players, for a change.
When Jeff said that purple had the worst losing streak in “the new era”, what constitutes the demarcation between eras? Is it when they started withholding the flint? (And when was that, exactly?)
