Interesting ending, and seeing how the voting rules are used/applied/play out.
Other than that, meh.
(I still love the competitions, though. Very well done).

Just watched. Yes, not a great movie.
I’m picturing the show taking a break just to get out the Survivor rule-book, so to speak, and making sure they understand the exact path forward.
Yeah, that vote went really deep into what-if scenarios. I can’t imagine that Probst had the rules right at top of mind.
He’s the show-runner now, but no. He had to sit down almost certainly with other producers and double check.
They know what’s going on at the beach. They probably went over the possible scenarios before tribal.
And the teams is a loser team, and I have seen this over and over- once you get a Hater into a team- that team will lose until they get rid of the Hater. It was Sai’s fault that the team was such a loser team, since how can they work together with hate tearing them apart?
And Eva- she knew Star disliked her- why throw out names? Never throw out names except to a trusted cadre and only if someone else brings up the question of “who”?
The dice game would have been SO much better with a little bit of added strategy- like if you got 3 diamonds you could quit and be safe. Otherwise it is pure luck.
What the hell was the point of Cedrek voting for Sai - twice! - only to weasel out when he had to do it to her face? What a spineless move. And one that’s sure to bite him in the ass later.
I hated it as well. What a bad move. Seems like a nice guy, but too easily persuadable.
She begged and cried while Pizza took it like an adult.
And if Mary and Sai end up on the same team- that team will be poisoned.
Well, that was an episode. ::sigh::
I liked the competitions again. That’s about it.
Totally did not are about the crying drama. She lost control, and needed someone to help calm her down.
As the grandparent of a child on the spectrum I found that scene very moving. YMMV, obviously.
And now Sai is giving lectures on sportsmanship. I’ll be so glad to see her gone.
My first thought was that it looked like she was having a panic attack rather than anything related to autism. Then I googled it and learned that panic attacks are VERY common among those on the autism spectrum. Every time that she had mentioned her autism, my reaction was, she may have it but it must be a mild case or whatever the appropriate term is. I think I understand her a little better now. I was glad to see the big guy help. As a dad and grandpa, I’d like to think I would have helped out in that situation too.
Meanwhile, Sai is definitely getting the villain cut from the producers. That’s fine with me. I’d like to see her gone.
This type of meltdown is quite common and I commend her for going on the show and for being able to pull through. I support this girl and Joe, the guy who helped her. I’ll be honest; I haven’t had a person to root for in years on this show, but I’m rooting for Joe.
Jeff rarely indicates he has seen footage from the tribe part of the show, but it was right for Jeff to tell Joe to go ahead and head over to her. We all know Jeff, as show-runner, has seen any important footage or has at least been updated, but this was a rare moment he “broke the wall” so to speak and leaked it a bit.
It was well handled.
Which she would have been if - once again - Cedrek had any balls. He seems like a decent guy and I’m trying to like him, but man, the guy is playing the most wishy-washy game ever.
I also don’t get why Chrissy, after wanting Sai out the whole episode, went for Bianca instead, why she changed her vote without telling her ally Mitch, and why Ced obviously told Chrissy that Bianca didn’t have a vote but didn’t tell Sai. That whole vote was a mess.
He’s playing terribly and I hope he loses. Nice guy, not good at this game. You can be nice and win, but I don’t think he is playing in a way to win. Hope he goes soon.
I wonder how many of you suffer from the same syndrome my wife and I do. Every so often, usually right about now in the season, we look at the screen and say:
“Waitwho’sthat???”
Anyone else still sometimes realize they don’t know a couple castmates remaining? I feel like we barely heard from Star or Shauhin. Sahuhin had that feature last night about his family, I think?
Could be just us.
Not just you, we did it watching the last episode.
I’m always suspicious that they sneak in a few new players at the merge.
Yep, but I do it as a joke. Mt wife takes notes, so we know all the players, however,m some dont get any camera time until later. Anyone who has watched the show more than a few times know those players wont be the winner.
