Good season so far. Seem to be some good people with the exception of Jeremiah. He seems to delight in cruelty.
I don’t know, if he makes it to the merge, I predict he’ll be first against the wall.
The good news is that now the shoes are safe.
My point isn’t the timing. My point is that there’s no reason to vote out an individual challenge threat unless you think you have a serious shot at winning individual immunity once they’re gone. Otherwise you’re just replacing him with someone else you can’t win against.
Well, that was interesting. The skullduggery going on was nicely involved, but totally voided once he got bit.
I think there was WAY too much caution in taking him out of the game. However, once they put in IV fluids, he did then have an advantage over the other players. But taking him out over mental trauma? Bah.
And I can’t tell you how happy I was that the guy played his idol. We’ve seen toooooo many times that overconfident players go home with idols in their pockets.
They didn’t really say all the details in the show, but they had to take him for overnight observation. And pretty much, if you’re out of the game for a night, then you’re done.
Well, that makes more sense. Yeah, a night of good rest is an unfair advantage.
There is a rule and I don’t know it for sure.
I would bet we see this guy again on some kind of second chances season.
Probably season 50?
Oh, yeah, they did invite a couple people back and told us that. Huh, maybe? I would have guessed that they invite someone that goes deep.
But, yeah, they could have.
If he does come back I hope they call him ‘Snakebite’ Latimer. That would be awesome.

Sea Krait bites are not very often dangerous. Unlike rattlers, they often do a dry bite, with no venom. But yes, their venom is very dangerous, however, they have to kinda gnaw on you a bit in order to get much venom in.
Two people will be back for 50. It’s already been filmed. It’s kept secret who but that info has leaked.

I don’t know myself. I saw way back when the the list was released but I’ve forgotten.
I just watched this week’s episode, due to baseball getting in the way. A really unusual one for a couple of reasons.
Of course players have been pulled from the game due to injury or medical issues before. But we’ve never been behind the scenes so extensively with the Survivor medical facilities. I found that part very interesting.
Also, whenever players have been pulled from the game in the past, there has been no tribal council and no other player voted out. I can’t think of any exceptions to that. I wonder why they chose to go ahead with the immunity challenge and TC this time.
Maybe if they were planning on integrating Blue team players into other groups an even number (2) is much easier. Thus, a “double elimination” beforehand.
Spoilered for those who avoid next week’s preview:
Next episode is the tribe swap. There’d be 15 left if Jake hadn’t been pulled, leading me to believe the original plan was to divide into three tribes of five.
Now that there are 14 players, will they form two tribes of seven? I doubt it, because the challenges are planned in advance and are likely already set up for three tribes.
So the likely outcome is three tribes of five, five, and four, which is probably not what the producers originally wanted.
