Not to mention that in the extra scenes, Coach tells JT and Stephen that 2 yrs ago he was diagnosed with a big-ass brain tumor, given six weeks to live, and healed himself by telling his white blood cells to destroy the tumor.
Oh, god, I just did. Thanks for the reminder. That man is certifiable. He thinks he looks like a Samurai, when he looks like a homeless person; a homeless person who mumbles to himself constantly. He seems to have his own soundtrack inside his head, and he’s narrating his own life story, and everything he does is larger than life. To him. When he farts, its larger than life. To him.
It’s not a fart, it’s the breath of the warrior deep inside him.
Awesome.
With all the beans they were eating, I’m betting it’s not just to him…
Yeah, but when Coach farts he changes the course of mighty rivers. Startles vast herds of bison. Doubles Brazil’s carbon footprint instantly. But he’s far too humble to mention this constantly, over and over and over. Really.
Considering how much crap he’s full of, I’d be wary about tooting if I were him.
BTW, what kind of accent was Assistant Coach speaking in? The sound quality was fairly poor, but to me he sounded like a combo of Creole, inner-city jive, and/or Jamaican patois.
But put those two together. Part of why I don’t quite believe that JT is a sure winner over Stephen is precisely because it pretty much looks that way from our perspective as viewers. But if you look at what the two have actually done, it’s not quite so clear, and maybe if we knew everything the jury knows, JT wouldn’t be seen as so universally loved. For example, why would Tyson or Debbie not hold JT totally accountable for their being blindsided, and so maybe would rather see Stephen win?
I agree, though, that the smart thing for either of them to do would be to try to end up sitting next to Erinn. However, maybe I’m just hopelessly naive (or  maybe I’ve been listening to Coach too much), but I can’t help but feel that JT and Stephen are genuine friends and that both might actually want to end up sitting next to the other in the finals, as opposed to going for the sure win. Not everyone will do anything to win . . .
Why is the fricking background music so loud during this secret scene? I could barely hear many of the spoken words.
