I got the feeling that in addition to that, they also were implying that one or more of her former teammates, who are now on the other tribe, might’ve sent her to exile island to save her from tribal council because they plan on maintaining an alliance once there’s a full merge.

Exactly, and, Candice said to the camera that she was playing dumb. She didn’t know if that’s why they sent her, but she didn’t want her current tribemates to think it was, so she played dumb. (And we thought she did a good job of seeming dumb.)

I was also surprised that Pavrati voted with the girls. Smart move on her part.

The whole baby bird thing made me think: These guys must not be really hungry yet. I’d have thought someone would have suggested either eating the baby bird or using it to lure the mother into a trap so they could eat her. All in all, a very enjoyable episode.
They seem to be getting fish pretty regularly. So they aren’t starving this season.

Does anyone else get a kick out of Jeff pronouncing Parvati “Poverty”? I always thought the accent was on the second syllable (having once known someone by that name), but I kinda like his version better.
Cao Boi is easily one of the most entertaining contestants ever! I mean, what a contrast to the rest of the Asian tribe (way too serious, IMHO). I hope he goes to FF, at least.
