Anyone see Tonys wife? Was she there?
Probst mentioned she was at home on bedrest, pregnant with baby #2.
No, she mentioned that he had tweeted her 500 times. That could have been PMs that aren’t public. Here’s his account - he’s a bit neurotic…
I’m a very disappointed Woo fan. I can’t believe he opted taking Tony over Kass. Congratulations Woo … you just made the top 5 stupid mistakes in Survivor history. I haven’t watched the very end of the show. Was there a fan favorite picked ?
Not so much. If you make yourself a complete asshole in other things besides backstabbing and “playing the game” then you’ll still lose, as Hanz found out. Tony played the game super hard, but outside his wheeling/dealing played it friendly. He worked hard at camp, cooperated, shared, etc.
And, if Spencer had won that immunity- the Tony would have lost- badly.
So, Tony playing the game hard & tough- but fair otherwise- is a good move if you are opposed by a “goat” or a “non-player”, but it can also backfire.
I still can’t figure Kass’s strategy.
I wanted Spencer to win.
I wanted Spencer to win, too, but I’ll take Tony over Woo or Kass. Tony and Spencer were playing the game, Woo was just a dumb guy who fell out of trees and Kass is just a jerk.
Pretty much agree with that. Picking between Tony, Woo and Kass would be difficult. Kass’s only redeeming feature was her absolute wiz-bang puzzle solving skills. Woo is just a duuuuude. Tony is exactly the kind of guy I don’t like to hang out with. His tattoo pretty much says it all.
According to posters on TWOP, in exit interviews all the players are saying that Kass got a favorable edit, and that she was actually much worse than what we saw. I find that incredible–she must have been pure misery to live with. If you watch the Ponderosa videos, you’ll see that Kass’ reception was ice cold…nobody spoke even one word to her. No way, no how she could have won, against anybody. The jury HATED her.
You can make all the moves you want, but if you act like a jerk, you’re not going to win (Hantz). Tony played hard and was instrumental in voting out a lot of people, but he was friendly, worked hard around camp, and didn’t make anything personal.
I’m disappointed Spencer didn’t win, but I’m confident we’ll see him again. And Tony was my second choice so I’m reasonably happy. Good season.
I can see that being the case. I didn’t think what we saw on screen of Kass was all that bad, personally… yeah, she was rough around the edges, and people didn’t like certain strategic moves she made (flipping on her alliance at the merge, for example), but I didn’t really see anything that would make people hate her.
(I had to love when Trish finally flipped out on her… “you think you’re smartah than me?” Yes Trish, I do…)
