I am hooked on the damn show, but mostly I watch it because I want to see Jerri go down. I cheered so loudly when her crabby needling lost her team the blindfolded challenge, and when Colby threw water on her I crowed! We get it a week or so after you guys, so please, no spoilers. Anyway
Why do I hate her? Let me count the ways…
She’s bossy. Okay, as a bit of a bossy boots myself I’m the pot talking about the kettle here, but she is such a selfish dominator. Not making up people’s minds because they can’t do so (which is why I’m bossy) but so she can have things her way.
Her friendship comes with a loyalty oath. Early on she had a small clan going, Amber and Mitchell and Colby and her. They were like a little in-group. Nobody else could be an equal with them, the others were excluded, and they were run by Jerri. Comfortable when you’re on the inside, but frustrating when you try to relate to anyone on the inside.
She is so damn noisy! Everything is a Big Fuss and Big Deal. If it’s good she screams and jumps up and down on the spot. If it’s a problem she’s in there yappin’ away about whatever it is and not letting anyone else get in their viewpoint. She fantasises about cholate in a loud voice. She never just does something. She does it and everyone has to notice it and comment.
Finally, she reminds me so much of Vivienne Bamford, who made my life hell the whole time I was in her class at Epuni Primary School, in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. Vivienne was a mean and nasty little girl. A middle class child who thrived on making other kids feel horrible, and who organised the ganging up on the poor badly dressed kids, or the kids who didn’t fit in. She was obsessed with smells and germs and labelled kids smelly and - but why am I telling you all this? (shakes self, remembers the fact of adulthood acheived, and consequent safety from Bamford attack, regains composure)
So what was the OP about? Oh yeah. Well I believe it, and it just goes to show what a slut she really is. But isn’t that Colby a real stud? man oh man!
