"SW: Episode III" confusion your time? These subtitles should understanding elevate.

Check out these “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” subtitles for a good laugh…

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

New SDMB catch-phrase!

“But you had me at ‘hello’!”

Troopseses?

Oh, this is fantastic!

Hilarious.

“Send these troopseses only.”

So was this a dubbed copy, or did they just add superfluous subtitles? I’ve never seen a bootleg, so I don’t really know how these things are done.

What’s with all the elephants?

No! Do not want!

I think what they did was wrote Chinese subtitles and then translated them back into English based on the Chinese subtitles.

Sort of a “copy of a copy” thing

One would think that attempting such insanity would rip a portal in the fabric of space-time but, hey, I guess not.

Gotta love Darth Vader at the end: not, “NOOOOOOOOO!!!”, but, “Do Not Want”

ETA: Damn, beat me to it…

Wow! That improves the movie A LOT.

What would REALLY improve the movie is if they could dub these lines onto the soundtrack.

The same site also has mangled subtitles from a bootleg of Rocky Balboa. I’m not sure if “we open now” is an improvement on Michael Buffer’s “Let’s get ready to rumble®.” The plum gram is long.
