What a pleasant surprise. Mail call goes down today for he first time in two weeks. My guy comes into my office and says, “You’ve got a big heavy box next door. It smells like chocolate.”
I sprint next door, rip open the box and what to my wondering eyes do appear? A Mrs. Fields 200 nibbler Coffe Break Tray!!

(The chocolate chocolate chip cookies stood up the worst. We ended up spooning the crumbs into our mouths! The white chocolate chip cookies held up the best. All were still surprisingly fresh!)

Sorry some of the cookies disintegrated in transit. We tried for the most durable package they offered. Oh well, at least you and yours enjoyed 'em, even if some were in crumb form.
BTW, the order person at Mrs. Fields had a hoot with your order. (It had to be done by phone, because the military shipping address, no phone, etc.) She really got into it, offering suggestions, etc. once she got over the weirdness of multiple usernames, the military stuff, etc.
And (blush) she tried her best to put a bunch of inane smilies on your card, along with our syrupy greeting, but couldn’t get her keyboard to do it. (Okay, I asked her to; but Shayna is the one who came up with the greeting!) We didn’t know if you’d get ribbed to death or envied–or both.
It was our sincere pleasure, Chieffie! What fun we had picking out what to send and coming || this close to sending the smilie basket - hehehe!!
I was really worried that they’d end up soaked by the water or lost at sea completely or arrive all moldy and stale. I’m SO glad they got there fresh at least, and that you and the rest of the guys enjoyed them as much as you apparently did. Sounds like you even finished off all 200 cookies (and assorted crumbs - LOL)!
I know it’s not as good as a blow job, but it was as close as I could get, being this far away from you. [Big winking smilie would go here].
