Swimming with bow legged women.

Is there more to this song or is that it?

“I like to go swimming with bow legged women and swim between there legs!”

thanks for all the help.

I only recall this from parody of the heme to “Popeye the sailor”

[iI’m Popeye the Sailor Man
I live in a Grabage Can
I like to go swimmin’
With bow-leged women
I’m Popeye the Sailor Man*

Sometimes it was “bare naked women”.

But I’ve never heard the version you quote.

It’s featured in an episode of MASH. Colonel Potter sings it in the shower inthe “Bug Out” episode.

Many references in “raunchy” songs to bow legged women. Bullmoose Jackson-“I Want A Bowlegged Women.” He also did “Big 12 Inch Record.”

Also a line from Quint in “Jaws”- “Here’s to swimmin’ with bow-legged women”.

“I like to go swimmin’ with bowlegged women and swim between their legs, swim between their legs…oh…hello, Padre.”

Since this is about a song or songs, I’ll move this thread to Cafe Society.

Heard Benny Hill sing it once. Can’t remember which song though…

My dear old Dad used to sing it

I love to go swimmin’ with bow-legged women
And dive between their knees

A little more risque…
