Well, yeah .. but 2 people hardly make a guild. I’ll start my IA on some random EU PvE RP server and check out if US servers are playable from here with a Republic alt on the official SDMB server later, I think.
Hmm, did order and put in my purchase code in August, but then I got an email in november about inputing another code for pre-order patch. I assumed that’s the one they scheduled off of but maybe the first one counts. It was never very clear to me.
I got all my alts moved into cantinas for maximum rest and have started playing my current main. I’ll probably switch to an alt whenever I run out of rest bonus. I’d like to get them invited into the guild whenever someone else is on at the same time as me.
I set my “Member Note” in the guild roster to Pleonast. I suggest everyone do something similar so we can remember who’s who.
I have Imperial alts as well; I’d like to start a guild on that side as well.
Has anyone played around with custom chat channels? Are they available to both factions? We should start a SDMB channel if so, so we can chat regardless of which side we’re on at the moment.
It’s the former, when you entered your purchase code. That’s okay then, I won’t hold my breath to get an invite today. The friend I usually play WoW with on Wednesday nights will be glad.
Okay, so I entered the code (####-####-etc) that I got in the email after purchasing. Is this the code that sets up the early access email? I verified my email and all that jazz.
Keep in mind that I did this just yesterday, so I’m not expecting any early access at all.. Just making sure, though.

I’m out Lindy Hopping tonight, so I’ll be playing tomorrow (got two days off due to some heavy work of late). I’ll work out what I am doing guild-wise then.
That sounds like it. I’m not sure what they do about pre-access for those who purchase the game this week though.

My Imperial Agent is Ainue on EU RP PVE server the Progenitor if somebody is really desperate for company. I can even heal … sort of.
Did the first flashpoint and it’s hilarious how assholish the Sith guys are. I laughed out at more than one conversation and my Agent got to pull out her execution pistol at least twice.
Are Guilds faction-specific, like on WoW? If so, what side should I role on on the US server?
In the meantime. I’m going to create a naughty boy on the Progenitor so AEM can support each other in our loneliness.
So I’ve been playing a lot, I got bored with my Consular really fast, so started a female smuggler who I’ve been having TONS of fun with – not what I expected. Right now she’s a gunslinger, with 3 points in Sabatoeur and the rest in Sharpshooter (her main spec, I mostly put the 3 in sab for the cunning buff). Right now she mops the floor with baddies, and I’ve gotten her rotation down pretty well. It turns out that CC in this game is rather nice too, as long as I turn on/off the right abilities on my companion (damn frag grenades). I actually got through a rather hairy 4-man heroic (<Something> In Deed) with 3 people (and we honestly could have probably done it with 2) by completely removing most of the droid elites from combat.
Her name is Lydia, so if anyone is ever on, please invite her, I don’t think I can invite my own person, sadly. Tonight I finished up at level 19 after getting my ship, having finished a few space missions, which is a fun little diversion.
I also think that after I get bored of Lydia I may roll an Imperial something on that server (probably not agent for fear of it getting too samey, though Sniper tempts me), so if anyone is thinking of an Imperial guild, I’ll have someone soon-ish.
Yes, a guild is either Republic-side or Imperial-side. Right now there is a Doper guild on the Republic side, but it sounds like most of us also have toons (or will have them) on the Imperial side. So I’m sure we’ll have an Imperial guild too as soon as someone gets around to creating one.
Crossing my fingers to get my access email today, although Thursday is not generally a good night for me to play. At least I should be able to create a few toons.
So, those of you who betaed. I couldn’t figure out how to use the color customization deally on by droid buddy, and ended up destroying it. Am I doomed to a boring vanilla T7 forever?
I don’t know, but I did the same thing with my BH companion Mako customization in the beta. If there’s a way to get it back I didn’t figure it out.
I liked the default Mako best anyway, so I didn’t try too hard.
OK, cool. I’ll create a republic chap on that server later today. Let’s hope it is vaguely playable over the Atlantic.
