'pends where you live - a NH friend came home from a weekend trip to 3 inches of snowy slush
I have a super super spiffy clean house - kitchen scrubbed, both bathrooms scrubbed, floors mopped. New towels are washed and put away, bed is re-made, comforter just went in the dryer, dish washer is ready to be unloaded and I have eaten lunch. Now I am off to shower in the newly scrubbed bathroom then get to sorting out my closet - put out the to big stuff for Goodwill and move my summer things into the closet in the bedroom.
Man busy day for a day of rest…
So, you’re volunteering to do my house next? 
Bought all sorts of new lighting today. Two kitchen fixtures, dining room, front hallway and three pendants to replace the cans on the the family room track light. Hope they fit and look nice!
Howdy Y’all! Been a bzzy but fun day. Easter deheathenization was really good. Lots o’ folks there! Two hunnert people in my lil’ church house is a crowd. N.O.L. was a success. Much merriment and consumage of food by everyone. When the last person left at 2:30 I loaded the dishwasher and then OYKW and I took a nappy poo cause we was tahrd!
In a bit we’re gonna go over to :eek:Wally*World:eek: to see if there’s any cheap chawklit on sale. It’s our annual (as of last year) Easter tradition.
gt the good thing about the Vigil of Easter Liturgy is that the number of lessons read can be shortened. So, the number shortened from approximately a bazillion to four, with a Psalm or Canticle and a prayer after each one. Seriously, if the whole thing was done it would be about an hour and a half just for that part. YP shortened it because of the Baptism.
Off to hunt for the rare and oft sought out cheap chawklit!
We are all checked into our hotel room. The doors open at the Continental Club at 6:30. We’re going to see Junior Brown at 7:30. He’s an old rockabilly star, with a double necked guitar with electric on top, and steel guitar on bottom! 
We had lunch at Freddie’s Place. Yummy burgers!
This room is nice - it’s an extended stay suites place, and has a kitchenette. Not that we’ll be cooking!
Tomorrow we’ll be going out to Salt Lick Barbecue for lunch.
Mmmm Rebo the Salt Lick is goooooooood or it was the last time were were there!

3 bags of ‘big clothes’ at sorted out and ready to go to Goodwill tomorrow. I am 3 sizes smaller on top and 2 sizes smaller on the bottom
Now I am off to make veggie lasagne sauce!

Had dinner at the kids house. Ham and broccoli and green beans and sallit and buns. Yum!

Happy Easter! I feel sort of selfish about Easters, because I had four of them before my third birthday, but I guess I didn’t use up anyone else’s. The excess hasn’t stayed steady though the years, but next year, when I’m still 34, will be my 36th.
If you’re scratching your head, look here. FTR, I was born April 10th, 1977 which put me one ahead from the beginning.
