Tapatalk the sole link method?

I just tried to send a link to a pal. Forgot I was within Tapatalk. So the link was a mess.

Easy right??- I went to my cell browser. Googled SDMB. Loaded THAT up.
Found the thread. Entered it. Copied the URL.

Sent it to my pal- only to see a Tapatalk link appear again.

Shouldn’t I be able to enter SDMB off of the Web, click a thread link and NOT have it pass through Tapatalk?

Repeat what you did, but close Tapatalk first (however you do that for your phone).

That seems right; you’d be okay as long as you disabled Tapatalk.

Otherwise, folks like me (who resist downloading the app) wouldn’t be able to forward links at all.
