Target has been showing a commercial with a woman training for Black Friday. Does anyone else find the sight of her running in the aisles in tracksuit and heels creepily interesting?
No. No offense, but those commercials trigger my “dive for the remote” reflex.
It’s Maria Bamford:

The way her pants fit reminds me way too much of Molly Shannon’s “I’m Fifty Years Old” SNL character.
I’ve not seen it but maybe I would… provided she was running away.
Mine too. If someone else has the control it elicits an inevitable Darth Vaderesque “Nooooooooo!”
I find the image of her running full tilt in heels somewhat hilarious. I also think she resembles Amy Sedaris, who I find really funny, so that might be coloring my perception a bit.
I’m thinking that she is supposed to be similar to Veronica on “Better Off Ted”.
Creepy yes, interesting, no. Those pants she’s wearing are just…wrong…and she’s far too manic.
Maybe she will be trampled when the doors open at 4 AM.
I think she’s hysterical, I’m really glad they brought her back this year. “I haven’t slept in days – days!”
This
She repels me, yet I cannot look away!
Good lord but I HATE that commercial, and the woman is scary as hell.
Maria Bamford has always given me a chuckle
I think it’s hysterical. The way she’s running through Target with the high heels on and the parachute behind her is effin’ hysterical. Especially the way she’s kind of hunched over. It never get’s old for me!
I was catching a Sue Sylvester vibe.
She’s way crazier than Sue.
