She’s not an A List actor, but she’s worked steadily for a good while, and she is going to star in a new TV series as the Secretary of State. She has always been very attractive. I was on the Yahoo! main page and she was listed as one of the top searches (apparently for the new show - I thought something might have happened to her.)
Anyway, the picture of her is horrible! She looks like Hillary Clinton and she’s still in her 40’s.
Maybe this is a shot from her new show and she’s made up to look a lot older, or did she suddenly start looking like she’s 65? It’s shocking to see someone close your own age look so old.
She’s almost 50, and that might not be her real age. And I don’t see anything in those pictures that make her look like Hillary Clinton. Are you sure that’s the right link? She looks pretty good for her age in those pictures.
It’s not in the “Image Results” section - those are how I remember her looking. It’s the big picture in the “Trending Now” sidebar. It’s possible you are blocking it, I don’t know.
On a side note, Tea Leoni played an FBI agent on Tower Heist. She was also the romantic interest for Ben Stiller’s character who was the leader of the robbers.
What was nice about this is that Leoni and Stiller were both 45 when the movie was made. So often you see the lead actor being paired with an actress who is ten or twenty years younger than they are.
I remember at one point seeing an article that people in Hollywood appreciated her comic timing and thought she was the next Lucille Ball. (Obviously, no one is the equivalent of Lucille Ball, but they meant the next big female comedy star.) But she never seemed to find the right role.
I will pay real, actual money to see this show again. I’ve seen some bootlegs floating around on Ebay but it seems no one at FOX wants to dig this show out of the archives despite my need to see it again.

That being said, “Flying Blind” was a series that had promise but eventually squandered it. For one thing, the lead actor seemed to start doing a Woody Allen impersonation about four episodes in. Since the show first aired around the time of the Allen/Soon-Yi scandal, it probably wasn’t a good idea to inadvertently remind viewers of the it. Also, the show quickly ditched its premise of a normal boring guy with a beautiful free-spirited girlfriend by having its uptight hero quit his straight-laced job. The lack of contrasts made the show much less interesting and less funny.
Great comedic timing: she could knit her brow and squint to look confused to great comedic effect. Then Jennifer Aniston did all this and added the genius of jiggling her head too, and the baton of comedic genius was passed.
I think that head shot of her for the secretary of state role is made to look like that. Maybe they heightened her crow’s feet a little, they shot her from an angle below, and she’s pursing her lips very Hillary-like.
I guess I’m the only who thinks she’s a shitty actress. I’ve never seen the comedic timing others are talking about. She lacks any charisma whatsoever.
