"Team Friendly"? Blow me.

Thanks for the links, ENugent and Bookworm. It’s clear that you two make great team players here at the SDMB.

I actually remember when of those “Is it fact or is it Dilbert?” quizzes where I guy wanted to know why he didn’t get a raise, and his boss said that he wasn’t a team player because he wasn’t smiling in the company photograph.

Needless to say, this was fact, not Dilbert.

Ha ha, Bookworm, I have the poster about Mediocrity, featuring the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Absolutely no one has even bothered to read it, I think. One person even commented on the “pretty colors”. I had a good laugh about that one.

Have you all seen Bullshit Bingo? Try playing it in a meeting sometime! You’ll come out a bitter, bitter winner!

Just remember that, although there is no “I” in “Team,” there is an “Eat” and “Me.”

“We have to adapt our paradigm shift in order to optimize our strategies to deal with today’s constantly shifting market niches.”

After I said that, and was applauded (Total Quality Management seminar), I asked “Now, what does that mean? What do we DO? I’d love to do that, but the phrase is a little short on how.”

Nobody had an answer.

And, may I add a hearty “Fuck you” to all those freaks that use the phrase “Think outside the box” and then can’t cope when you do…

Right now, I’m typing on my input solution into a window displayed in my Web browsing solution, which takes up about 10 megs of my storage solution on my hardware solution. Sorry … a robust hardware solution. Diodn’t mean to confuse you all.

Did you strategize your post to maintain a mission, vision and principles? Or is it more likely that the low hanging fruit helped you with your gap analysis while you attempted to see things with a helicopter view? Is this thread best-in-class? Do we have the bandwith to supoort your business portfolio? Just what is the broad-based solution?

Maybe we should benchmark other threads. The OP should be much more client-focused and customer driven, while we are maintaining cross-functioning processes. We could outsource it, if we want to get our deliverables to be a done deal. All posters should be empowered to edit their global based functionality so that we have more value-added posts.

All threads should be a win-win and every member should be a team player. If we need to deploy, then come up with a straw man before we have a final product rollout.

Keep leveraging your resources to prevent realignment. We are just weeks from ramping up. We do not need to push the envelope or we risk a paradigm shift. Remember to prioritize your oppoortunities for this mission critical, market based, knowledge based infrastructure so that the industry specific, highlevel design document isn’t too information based.

We need to stay on the fast track and be flexible to facilitate the core processes.

Throw a dynamic, people-focused swoosh.

The Straight Dope – offering robust knowledge solutions to discriminating consumer clients since 1973.

My company has “solutions” in it’s tag line.

On May 1, we are getting a new logo and a new tag line, and the complete rollout of a whole new marketing strategy. If we have a swoosh in our logo, I’ll enjoy one good inside joke, while everyone else applauds like the worhtless drones they are.

Thanks, elmwood. I feel swooshy today.

I may have to appropriate this for my signature file, Ethelrist.

And I keep a copy of The Dilbert Principle on my desk at all times, just to keep things in perspective. You never know when you might need it.
