The best part is it will involve the KKK. Branding!
There is that one shameful episode from her past when she married a human rectal polyp, but this is also a poorly kept secret by now.
'tis easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle…
Having trouble adjusting to life somewhere doesn’t sound like much. I’ve lived lots of places where I’ve had trouble adjusting to life. My wife nearly accepted a job in Texas a few weeks ago. We went there to look around and my reaction was along the lines of, “Christ, I don’t want to live here!” So if the “beans” are just that she doesn’t like living in Texas, those are some mighty small beans.
She’s a man, baby!
But seriously, if he wants to go there he could start hammering on the fact that she is a Goldman Sachs bigwig. Not a secret but oddly not focused on.
That could be interesting. Maybe Trump has some information about shady or dumb deals she concocted at Goldman Sachs. I can actually see that Trump might have inside sources there that are willing and able to share some damaging information. Goldman Sachs, of course, was tangled up in the housing crash. Maybe Heidi and Ted Cruz were involved in some shady real estate deals. That would be fun to watch. We could call up Ken Starr. He eats that shit up.
I think “trouble adjusting” is a euphemism for developing a raging drug habit w suicidal tendencies.
I’d feel that way if I had to move to Texas. Well, aside from Austin.
I take it to mean that he’s literally going to spill a can of beans on her. Picture Ann-Margret in Tommy. Go ahead, you know you want to.
I laughed out loud at that.
I doubt it will do Trump much good to tell everyone that his opponent’s wife is a hated investment banker when Trump is a multi-billionaire himself.
I don’t understand Cruz’ foreign policy views at all. He used to be on the Rand Paul antiwar bandwagon, no?
What? Being rich is not the same as being a bigwig at the spotlight bank of the meltdown&bailout.
I think Lehman Brothers was the spotlight bank (or financial services provider) of the meltdown. But the point is that Trump’s money essentially comes from the same place.
That’s exactly the case. They want a contested primary, like Romney advocated, where they can designate someone else.
Of course, I’d almost rather see Ted the nominee so we can finally get a “true conservative” run so we can see how America responds to that instead of a lukewarm conservative like Romney.
Quite wrong on both counts. Goldman Sachs was fined over 500m for their actions during the collapse. They both participated in subprime mortgages and ran hedge funds anticipating the collapse. And they recieved over 10 billion during the bailout.
And Trump’s money doesn’t remotely “come from the same place” unless you mean the U.S. treasury.
I looked at the past two Republican primary contests in 2008 and 2012 to see how many states the runner ups won. In 2012 Rick Santorum was runner up to Mitt Romney, winning 11 states. In 2008 meanwhile, Romney was the runner up to John McCain, and he won 11 states also.
So far Ted Cruz has won 9 contests. So my prediction is he will win no ,ore than two more states and that would be it. Trump would take everything left on the calendar.
FTR, the ad was funded by an anti-Trump organization (Make America Awesome), not a pro-Cruz one.
Update: Trump tweets an image which I guess argues that Trump’s wife is more attractive. Wow. That’s …offensive on a number of levels. Apparently attacks on political correctness give the ill mannered a free pass.
Not that I’m a friend of big banking, and correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t they pay that TARP money back within something like 5 years?
Sounds like a bunch of stoners sitting around their buddy’s garage.
I don’t believe for a second that Cruz wasn’t aware of/not in contact with the group in some way.
I still haven’t found a statement that he condemns the ad.
Candidates have their PACs, but not all PACs are for a particular candidate. Some are just against a candidate. This is not one of Cruz’s PACs. Given how sneaky he is, I wouldn’t completely rule out that Cruz was behind it, but there’s no real evidence, or even any smoke to indicate a fire.
