Well, she does have experience taking over a sinking ship and getting the blame.
Aye, he just announced he will not be POTUS. Nobody wants Carly Fiorina to have any kind of power or authority ever again; Cruz gains nothing from this move.
Smacks of desperation. He’s trying to out-Trump Trump. And it’s not working.
He gains an excuse.
Oh sure, blame the woman.
Wow. I thought with his under the table second round vote delegate advantage he wouldn’t act this desperate. I guess Cruz has very little confidence in Indiana and California.
I meant that if he fails, he’ll blame her.
Well, that event was a train wreck. Not sure what Cruz thinks he gains by this.
This is a strange election season
Campaigning in Indiana, Cruz commits the gaffe, apparently unforgivable in a basketball-loving state, of calling the hoop the “basketball ring.”
Strangest since '68, man. The only things missing are a serious third-party candidate, and an assassination or two. As for a convention riot – we probably can expect that, in Cleveland at least.
It seems the only winning move is not to run.
Cruz/Fiorina might be the most physically repulsive Presidential ticket in American history. I’m not even kidding.
Only this time it’s going to be inside the hall, instead of on the streets.
Way to roll in the mud, kid. Don’t you have some pseudo intellectual categories to place them in? Surely they are physically repulsive cryptofascist fifth pillar neocapitalist new worlder something somethings.
Yes, you are. Abraham Lincoln, all by himself, was physically repulsive enough to cover the three or four next ugliest tickets.
This country has enough problems selecting competent and efficient Presidents without basing the selection on how good looking they are. Attacks on politicians based on their looks are completely out of place.
I think attacks on politicians based on their looks are always fair play for editorial cartoonists, at least. But that’s a minor point, a matter of artistic expression.
At last the Republicans are making a bit of real, useful progress over the Democrats’ past accomplishments!
Are Cruz and Fiorina uglier on the outside or the inside? It’s a close call.
The Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield, Illinois has (or had, I don’t know if it was a permanent or temporary exhibit) a gallery of cartoons mocking Lincoln’s physical appearance. Many of them were beyond caricature, but were simply mean-spirited.
(I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again: anyone passing near or through Springfield, Illinois should visit the museum. It’s really excellent.)
