Yeah it’s a lukewarm endorsement but still better than nothing for Cruz. Along with the Fiorina pick his campaign at least has something to talk about over the weekend. Though Cruz is behind in the polls, 538 gives him a 53% chance of winning in their poll-plus forecast so he definitely has a chance.
That had me worried, too.

All kidding aside, Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina is probably the nastiest ticket I can recall in recent memory. It’s appalling to think that they could be this close to the presidency. I admit that Trump worries and repulses me, and there’s no way I’d ever conceivably vote for him – unless it were Trump against Cruz. As much as I’ve lampooned Trump and Sarah Palin, I can say without hesitation I’d much prefer them as nominees over Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina. Just disgusting people.

Fiorina falls off stage. Cruz ignores her.
His back was to her when she fell but he then turned, saw that Heidi was starting to assist Fiorina and goes back to greeting supporters. Not a trace of concern on his face.
She fell like less than 2 feet and doesn’t even look like she totally lost her feet. You can see at the end of the video Cruz’s wife just steps off the front of the stage to leave. By the time Cruz noticed she was probably just standing in front of the stage.
