Seriously. Cruz is a jerk and would be a danger to humanity as president; Fiorina a failed executive who would be unprepared to step into the presidency and who is no leader. But dang, trying to make hay over this, and for that matter her sharing the song she sings with the Cruz kids, is pretty weak.

The ink was barely dry on the Cruz/Fiorina signs.
Or the Cruz-kasich alliance. But those were both Hail Marys. He had to know the chances of success were slim.
I wonder where Cruz goes from here. He clearly was skillful in positioning himself as the true conservative both through his time in the Senate and in his campaign for President. But it doesn’t seem like the party base is even conservative anymore in any meaningful sense of the word. Just angry. Will Cruz spend the next few years going full on populist?

No one who calls Sanders that has any credibility. It is not even defensible as hyperbole. Calling Trump a fascist would be defensible as hyperbole. Calling Sanders a communist is a category error.
Gotta say, for someone as devout as Cruz is supposed to be, finding out that God doesn’t want you to be President must sting a little.
He will return to the Abyss to slumber and feed, at least until the next Senate session.
