What I was trying to say is that Ted Haggard’s reluctance to “judge others” for their homosexuality seems to be a pretty recent development, as the wiki page’s section on his ministry teachings about homosexuality indicates.
It seems perfectly possible to me that if this guy hadn’t been caught with his own dick in the candy jar, he’d still be perfectly happy to strut around publicly condemning homosexuality in a completely hypocritical manner. Yes, if this experience really has made him a more honest and tolerant person, then that’s a good thing, but his past record is not in his favor on the honesty-and-tolerance issue.

If so, that is your personal moral viewpoint, and not supported by science. It was back in 1948 that Dr. Kinsey showed that there is a continuum of sexuality, with most people somewhere along the middle part of this range.

Speaking as someone who’s bisexual, I strongly doubt that Ted Haggard is bi. Considering what the guy had to lose if he got caught having gay sex, it doesn’t make a lot of sense for him to go picking up male prostitutes if he was capable of having fulfilling sexual relationships with women. I’m not ruling it out entirely, because people do all sorts of stupid things with their dicks if they think they can get away with it, but the odds are stacked against it.
