Paypal.
At this point, we’re not planning to enable comments there. There will be a traditional “letters to the editor” column, should anyone want to write letters to the editor.
I’m hoping that if there’s something that people want to discuss, they’ll start a thread here and link back to teemings. We would also add a link to the thread from teemings, so people there could find the discussion.
Hmmm, interfactive feedback? Thanks, sounds like a great idea.
Of course, Carnivorousplant’s “Paypal” feedback sounds intriquing too. I wonder tho, will Paypal transfer $0.02 ?
If each of you would send in one dollar…or two cents…
Nothing will ever beat my two favorites “Little Timmy Cthulhu’s Christmas Miracle” and “My Bladder Knows I’m Home”.
I have the latter but lost my hard copy of the former. Sob
I’m going to unstick this announcement now, but feel free to keep comments and questions coming!
We’re closing in on the Dec. 15th deadline for submissions for material for the first issue, so if you’re dithering – stop and send it (whatever “it” is) to me at teemings at gmail dot com – prose, poetry, photography – or creative endeavors not beginning with “p” – all are welcome.
The deadline is up until midnight in my timezone, right? I still have an hour or two of work to put in before I can send it.
As long as it’s here by the time I fire up the 'puter tomorrow morning, we’re good.
So how’s it going, Twicks?
Any word on the Pulitzers?
We are chugging along briskly. At this point, I’m the main holdup – there’s one last big piece I need to edit and get to Euty, plus a few odds and ends. Don’t think we’ll make the 1/1 launch, but early next week is looking good.
I hope y’all will be as thrilled as I am with how smart and funny and interesting Dopers can be.
Ah, I never did send in the story for my photo, did I? :smack: Well, I’ll either take care of it tonight or send it for the next edition.
bumpage
We’ve started working on the next issue – I have a couple of things lined up, but am definitely looking for more material. “Material” includes not only the traditional fiction and poetry, but nonfiction writing, reviews, etc.; also art; also music. See the submissions guidelines for more information.
The next issue will be posted around March 1st, so the **deadline for submissions for that issue is February 15th. **
Any questions, email me at teemings dot gmail dot com.
Ba-dum-bump.
