I have my navel pierced, but at the bottom instead of at the top.
At my high school you couldn’t have any visible piercings, and I didn’t want to get my nipple done so that was pretty much the only option available - I was 13 at the time. Managed to hide it from my mum (who told me I couldn’t get any till I was 16) for almost a year before she found out and didn’t really care that much.
I still have it in, 10 years later, but I don’t really feel like getting any more.
Ladies, a question about your nipple piercing: is it visible? Does it show through your bra, or do you have to wear a padded bra? What if you go braless- is it obvious you have jewelry there?
I’ve seen women with implants who obviously have their nipples pierced, as it shows when they wear a tight shirt. But I don’t know if it’s always visible on all women, or only if they have implants, or if it depends on how big the ring/bar is.
My wife may be interested but only if there’s no chance the “general public” would ever know.
I am a large woman, and there is no way I could ever go in public without a bra. And my bras all have padding; but when I am walking around the house in just a tank top, you can definitely see the hoops. When I wear them. I dont’ always.
By the way, my nipple piercings were as painful as labor pains. The nipple only was pierced…none of the surrounding aerola. He literally scooped the meat out of my nipples to get the hoop in. shudder
I don’t know whether to curl up in a ball or perhaps just shriek, but my hats off to you.
I did want to add that the piercing in my nose HURT like the devil. It’s only for a second, but the tears just ran right out of my eyes. Of course, they didn’t use any local or anything, and the skin on my nose is thick.

Both nipples and a Prince Albert. I’ve had them all for well over 10 years now. I had my tongue pierced at one point but that only lasted about 3 months before I took it out permanently.
