Our oldest sons are our natural children, the younger three are adopted. Since they were foster children there was no question about telling them they were adopted. However, there is no question that this girl should be told ASAP. In her particular case, I imagine that she will blame him for not telling her and the mother will get more or less of a pass on the blame.
