Tequila Mockingbird Silliness

Just to comment on your name…

Until I was about in grade 8, I thought that was actually the name of the book.

Ahh… youth

Mundane and Pointless enough for all of you?

Oh so you’re the kid I read about in Reader’s Digest, eh?

Actually, I adopted this name because I like the book. I like tequila. I like wordplay. It’s also less obscure than the usual name I use. (Hericane) Plus, when I used to tend bar, it bothered me to no end when people would “be a witty drunk” and order “Tekillya”. It’s tequila damnit and we don’ need no steenking limes!!!

You put the lime in the cocoanut, don’t ya?

I do like your name, Tequila. It has it all. It’s witty, it’s literate… And since no male would dare use it, before I even read one post of yours, I know you’re female. Three out of three!

Line forms ** here** boys.
I’m impressed.
Cyber kisses if you wish.
SMAK!

Oh no…let’s not start another “worship” thread!! Kiss LaurAnge if ya gotta kiss anyone! She started it!!

[sub]Could I have used more exclamation points? Sheesh[/sub]

The old TV series Get Smart had an episode that spoofed The Maltese Falcon. The object in question was called “The Tequila Mockingbird”.

When you are old you know these things. Yes, I saw the episode when it first aired. Yes, I’m older than the movie. Yes, I’m older than the book. No, I’m not older than Gregory Peck.
