Just saw a headline in the elevator that Fox has ordered 13 more episodes of the series. I enjoyed the first season, but I effectively shut off my mind when the show started and just watched the action and said, “ooo, pretty.”
Good news. It was a great show and I hope Summer Glau comes back.
Yes! [ahnuld]I’ll be[/ahnuld]… watching.
It’s not all that bad a show, if you just watch and don’t ask too many questions.
I was hooked enough on the original Terminator that I have watched the follow-on versions with my critical faculties turned off.
Besides, Fox was clever enough to have it on when either nothing else was on that I cared to see, or I had to TiVo it and that let me skip the commercials.
I’ll watch again if it’s in a similar time slot.
I can’t say the same thing for Heroes, Jericho and another one I can’t even remember the name of, that just didn’t have the juice to call me back after the first season (or after the strike).
We DVRed it (man, that just doesn’t have the same ring as TiVoed!) and we’re about halfway, I think, through the first season. I’m a little annoyed that the sweet, normal high school girl undercover of the pilot got the Data treatment and Summer Glau is once again in the role of Odd Girl With Powers Beyond Your Ken, but other than that, I like it. At least enough to keep watching, which is more than I can say for Heroes (I know! I’m like, the *only *person in America who found it boring! What can I say?)
I didn’t think it was going to be renewed. I’m glad I was mistaken, though 13 eps isn’t a lot. It’s not a great show, but it’s watchable. I really liked the first two movies and the T-verse in general and I thought the show took the story in a better direction than T3.
I liked it so far, nothing incredible, but a bit more watchable than more other new SF on the box.
Its on Virgin1 in the UK, so it doesn’t clash with Chuck, which is a bonus and means I’ll probably watch season 2 when it arrives.
