I have it on good authority that any threadmill that’s capable of supporting an airplane will get stuck in the muddy soil we have around here in the Netherlands. There are some engineers that are working on a solution, but since it will only work upto a certain weight limit - the dreamliner should be just within range, the A380 won’t - the French are using all their EU muscle to stop us. So I guess I’ll never know my position…
