Checking whether both the word (ß) and number (ß) tags work.
Now checking [symbol]eprEPR[/symbol] symbol tag.
A theorem:
If lim a[sub]n[/sub] = A and lim b[sub]n[/sub] = B, then [list=number][li] lim (a[sub]n[/sub] + b[sub]n[/sub]) = lim a[sub]n[/sub] + lim b[sub]n[/sub] = A + B[/li][li] lim (a[sub]n[/sub]b[sub]n[/sub]) = (lim a[sub]n[/sub])(lim b[sub]n[/sub]) = AB, and[/li][li] if B <>[sup][/sup] 0, lim(a[sub]n[/sub]/b[sub]n[/sub]) = (lim a[sub]n[/sub])/(lim b[sub]n[/sub]) = A/B[/list]Whew! Ain’t exactly Mathematica/MatLab, but it’s not pretending to be.[/li]
[sup][/sup]Couldn’t find a “does not equal” tag.

Alt + 0185
OK, it took quoting you to get it, but I did. It’s the superscript 1 (alt-0185) in the symbol font. I was frustrated because I read it as just “alt-0185,” which of course doesn’t work. Then I got more frustrated flitting to every ASCII table on the net, and still not finding it. After all that, I’m still left with three questions and a statement.[list=number][]How did you get so dadgum smart?[]Know where I could find a list of these symbol-font-extended-ascii characters?[]Is my nagging feeling that I’m totally missing something elementary here correct?[]I’ll thank you in person this weekend.[/list]
Windows character map—I suppose if you’re on a Mac, there’s some equivalent. Set your font to Symbol and you’ll see the full extended ASCII set, for that font; use Arial or Romans for the other font face used here. I didn’t include the necessary step to change the font face to symbol; I just assumed since you were using it so frequently in your previous post, you’d understand that. My apologies.
Smart gum, obviously. Wanna buy some?
Or you could go here where bibliophage has just posted 'em with the equivalent keystrokes.

By Sunday, I’m confident you’ll never again underestimate my capacity for stupidity.
The gum sounds like a great deal. I’ve got three beans to trade…
On MacOS, it would be KeyCaps in the apple menu.
