Hi there! Welcome to the SDMB!
(oooo, I got to welcome somebody!)
Looks like you’re getting the hang of things already, testing the waters (and your vB skills) in ATMB. Next move, of course, should be to dive into MPSIMS and introduce yourself there.
Depending on where you hang, you can expect thought-provoking statements (Great Debates, General Questions), enlightenment on just about any subject(General Questions, Comments on Cecil’s Column, Comments on Staff Reports), many giggles (MPSIMS, the Pit, Great Debates), and even a good bout of rightous indignance (the Pit) once in a while.
However, when making rash statements, have cites readily available. Except in MPSIMS.
Hanging here beats rereading “The Winter Queen” for the 467th time.
And Hi Opal is an old joke…Opalcat made a rash statement about hating two-item lists (especially bulleted ones) and said that there ought to be at least three, even if the third was only Hi Opal!.
Being the bunch that we are, the board membership seized on this and immediately began beating the joke to death. Apparently, it isn’t dead yet, somewhat to Opalcat’s growing dismay. Just remember, properly speaking, the third item should be Hi Opal only if you don’t have any more items.
See ya 'round, if not, see ya square…
Testes, Testes. 1, 2, 3???
P.S. Anyone who correctly guesses where I stole this from gets 10 Krap-E™ points.

Testing, testing, testing
I’m not allowed within 500 feet of my local McDonald’s due to a misunderstanding about how many napkins I’m entitled to on a per-burger basis. Can you send me a copy of the rules?
