Well, you asked! 
This past summer, Ford had a concept vehicle with the “Tonka” label on it.

I’d love a Porshe 911 or some other small fast car, but I’m such a big fella that have a hard time fitting in them.

If I could have any car I wanted, I’d get this car. Riced out with the hovercar mods, of course.

But this vehicle is pretty nice too.
Any TVR really, but especially the T440R (they picked the wrong colour for it IMHO), you have to see it in the flesh to really appreciate it though.

I used to fantasize about getting an old Yugo, or some similar POS, so I could:
(1) Throw away everything but the body;
(2) Have someone build me a roller frame to drop said POS body over; and
(3) Configure the resulting abomination with a Mazda 13B rotary in a mid-engine, rear-drive layout.
Of course, it would probably have been impossible to license any such … vehicle. Hell, it might have been physically impossible to even build the thing and make it driveable. In any case, I never had either the time or the money to pursue it.
The idea still appeals to my sense of humor, though.
