The text just got smaller on my computer.
I think my daughter did some kind of update yesterday.
Anyway I tried to get it back to normal, but no luck.
I tried Tools, Options, Font Size, but nothing changed.
Thanks !

Do you mean on your internet browser ? If so, try CTRL+mousewheel or CTRL+ KEYPAD_PLUS. It should zoom back in.
Try ctrl-mousewheel up/down, or ctrl-+/-; ctrl-num pad 0 (if num lock is set) should return to default font size…
EDIT: That’s what I get for fiddling around to see whether I remembered things right!
Your daughter may have also changed the screen resolution. If this is what she did then you can go into the display properties in your control panel and set it back to a lower resolution.
I know how you feel. Ever since I turned 40 every single newspaper decided to print smaller. And don’t get me started on how some jerk went into every public library in Chicago and exchanged the books for those with smaller type
If you mean the text on the whole computer, it may be that she raised the resolution, likely to the native resolution of the monitor, as it looks better. You’d be better off changing the DPI.
You’ll have to google it or wait on another Doper, as I’m using a device and can’t link anything.
Got smaller in what application? If it’s just your browser, and you are using Internet Explorer, look at the lower right part of the screen. Does it say 100%?
It’s very easy to acidentally change the zoom on the browser. Happens to me all the time.
Its Firefox’s update.
Why would they change font type and size? (I know, just to piss people off). Idiot’s!
Have to mention a classic thread on the same subject – not because it’s particularly germane to your case, but more for the epic, now-famous response from Manhattan:
