On my way home last night, I was approaching a traffic light behind one other car as the light was turning red. I put on my right turn signal, AND HE MOVED INTO THE LEFT LANE SO I COULD TURN RIGHT ON RED!!!
Must be catching. Our area is renown for discourteous drivers, yet I experienced that myself yesterday. I let another driver pull out in front of me, and when we got to a light a few hundred yards down the road, he pulled as far to the left as possible so I could squeeze by and make a right on red.
This morning, a guy stopped in traffic so I could pull out onto the main road. I gave hime the finger. That’ll teach him.
The other day I called a museum about the absence of my membership card and the nice friendly guy informed me that it had been mailed last week and to expect it any day. I though it was some anomaly in the time-space continuum, but then today I spoke to this bank where I’ve been half-heartedly trying to close an old account for a couple years. The nice friendly man on the other end told me he would take care of it personally!!!
Am I in the twilight zone or what?
And folks say all we do here is bitch and moan…
But I call bullshit! I don’t believe for one moment that there was a single person so considerate that they would do the above mentioned items; other than myself or you good people, of course.
It had to be a coincidence.
That’s the funny part – it was the same guy in all the incidents.
