I’ve thought it through, and decided that I’m to addicted to this message board to leave. If I have any advice from my experience here, it would be this: DON’T POST WHEN YOU ARE DRUNK! Things seem more important than they are. I’ve got my head out of my ass, and I know what my priorities are. Forgive me for my temporary lack of control. I’d like to thank everyone who responded to me, and I’d like to say that I’m back, and ready to post any stupid thing that comes to mind. Crankyasanoldman really made me think, and Tubagirl sealed the deal with her own admission. Thanks all. I’m glad to be back, knowing that I’m not such a chicken-shit.
Also, I love my wife very much. And the other woman? We’re best of friends. I can’t get away from her because we work together. I’ve recognized that I’ve confused Infatuation with love. She’s still a darling, but I’ve got my head on straight now. and I recognize that we can never be more than friends. Thanks all. Especially Danielinthewolvesden, who, essentially, called my bluff.

I don’t know what you are referring to, but we all make mistakes and we are all human.
It appears to me that you have come through crisis and that this has been a growth experience. Being a mature adult includes accepting your mistakes and learning from them so that you don’t repeat them.
Please remember that we are all on this board at different times of the day and night, and the fact that Daniel, Cranky and Tubagirl have not responded does not mean that they are ignoring your thread.
Again, I do not have any knowledge of what you did or wanted to do that you are so ashamed of. But please know that you are the one who has gone through whatever it is. You are the one who has chosen to correct your situation. You are the person who has taken charge of the problem and dealt with it.
So give yourself a break, and live life the way you feel is right. And hug your wife a whole bunch and maybe bring her flowers every once in awhile for no reason. We women love that!
I’m so glad you decided to stay, CFish! And you did not make a fool of yourself in any way. The folks around here are outspoken about their own fallibility.
We strongly suspect the few apparently sane, stable and serene people are either androids or lying.

I was gonna wait for a night when I was really drunk to respond just to show you what it looks like when someone REALLY makes an ass of herself, but I just know when that night comes I’ll have forgotten this thread. I’m sure I’ll turn up somewhere though.
Give your wife an extra flower for me. And what the hell, buy your coworker a cup of coffee from me sometime too (extremely tired doesn’t work quite as well as drunk, but it’ll do in a pinch, won’t it?).
