Thanks for not killing her, Mr. Human Trash

Elizabeth Smart found alive.

here

Well thanks Emannuel or whatever your name is. And you know, I don’t care what bad thing ever happened to you as a child to make you do this, if anything ever did happen.

We are going to put this rifle barrel up your ass and this one in your mouth. Then we are going to pull the triggers at the same time. Oh , and we will televise it so that other creatures like you understand that we won’t allow our children to be hurt any more.

See human trash. Your death may actually save another child from shit like you.

Bye Bye now.

I’m hoping he ends up in the general prison population so he can get what he really deserves, over and over again for the rest of his sub-human existance.

Kidnapping isn’t a death-penalty offense, is it?

And can I just say OhMYFuckingGOD! No way did I believe that girl was still alive. That’s just amazing.

Because nothing says “justice” like anal rape.

Cite?

Nobody said anything about anal rape fuck-face. If that is all that you had on your mind then save it for the demonstration. A minor miracle has happened and all you can think about is the well being of the perpetrator in prison.

Wow! I’m very curious about what the real story is. I don’t know much about the case, but it seems like the girl would’ve been able to escape or alert somebody or something, if she wanted to.

This news story implies that she was kidnapped by a cult? I hope her parents have enough money for the counseling she is going to need. I am so glad she was found alive. I wonder what charges they will end up fileing against him,and the women that were with him. If she really was kidnapped by a cult, she’s going to need heavy counseling, and de-programming too.

Yet another case that shows that cops get tunnel vision when they think they have their man. Or woman.

She’s alive? Holy crap.

I also can’t wait to hear the whole story. (Although I’m sure a mini-series will be created & televised in the next month or so about the whole ordeal.)

I’m stunned as well. I would never have dreamed that the girl was still alive. Though one always hopes, cases with happy endings don’t come along that often.

Maybe there’s still hope for Laci Peterson, as well.

I am extremely tempted to ask to use this as a sig, but I’m afraid of scaring people off

That was the funniest thing I’ve read on SDBM all month!

Are you a criminal defense attorney?

That will probably be the kidnappers case. See, I kidnapped a 15 year old girl, but she wanted to stay with me. That’s why she never tried to escape, or alert somebody or something.

That makes perfect sense.

NOT!

kevja, I think An Arky may have been suggesting that Elizabeth was “brainwashed”, and didn’t try to escape or alert others either because she was conned into thinking she was okay where she was, or because she was too terrified of the consequences.

I read a book once (true crime, not fiction) called Perfect Victim, about a 20-year-old woman who was kidnapped and kept in isolation by a married couple. First they broke her down by keeping her bound and blindfolded for six months. Then the husband told her that he was a member of a “slave ring” which had operatives everywhere, and if she even thought about trying to escape, or alerting others, she would be caught and tortured, maybe killed. Then the wife “love-bombed” her, telling her she was like a daughter/sister/friend to her, and she was better off staying with them than being “traded” to much harsher masters. So, not knowing whether to shit or wind her watch, the victim lived like this for five years, until the wife finally came clean to her.

I know it sounds outrageous. But it’s a true story. It can happen. And teenagers are highly susceptible. That doesn’t mean, however, that the defense you put forth would stand up in court. It didn’t for those people.

I wonder if anyone in the media will now apologize for their trial and crucifixion of Richard Ricci just a few months ago.

I am just thinking that this will make a great topic for her college essay.

“How I Overcame Being Kidnapped for Nine Months” by E. Smart

I predict she goes to Stanford…

I don’t have a lot to say. I’m just really glad that they found her and that she is, at least physically, alright. I can’t imagine what that poor kid might have gone through. May her abductors be punished as severely as possible, within the context of law.

You know, the fact that she didn’t attempt to escape even though she apparently had opportunities to do so really makes me shudder to think of what this guy did to her mind. I just hope that someday she’ll be able to have a reasonably normal life after this. Poor kid. I can’t even imagine.

That’s a knee slapper.

Is it me, or has the standard for miracles been lowered even further lately?
