Some thunder boom booms meant I was awakened by a 65 pound dog who thought she could escape the noise by standing on my head.
Stoopid beast.

Heh, I have enough trouble just playing it with my fingers.
I wanted to go downtown with my sister today but I woke up feeling awful. It’ll pass soon, though.
If I stay home, I can get some work done anyway.
I opened windows on da back side of da cave. What a weird thing to be able to do in January in the northern hemisphere! Still, kinda nice to air the place out a bit.
If I had a sleeping bag, or had planned on going camping it wouldn’t have been so bad, just had my bed & blanket.
Expecting up to 2" of rain today; mebbe I’ll stay in.
43 in NLR, 55 on Long Island!
Rosie doesn’t need the warmth, backing in her 15 point glory.
So long as there’s Intarwebs, no need for TV.
That’s how I live.
How you doin’?
ETA: Saw on FB it’s 71F in Cottonfield County, supposed to hit low 60s in Southerne Merrylande today.
I’m doing all right. Feeling a bit better now.
I should get back to working on my projects instead of procrastinating on the Dope and finding Moxy Fruvous covers on YouTube. haha
Ok, so no teevee, no room service and you have to walk across the street to the Waffle House for wifi. How ‘bout that for roughin’ it?
VWife would certainly have a hissy fit. Me? Meh.
I’ve had him on my list since the beginning. It’s not just jumping on the bandwagon, it’s staying on for the whole ride.
I’m doing absolutely nothing today. It’s not often I get a Saturday off.
It’s so
foggy I couldn’t tell if it is raining, I had to open the door to see that it is pouring.
What a dark miserable day.
Durance vile.
Dreary dreary day… But I won good daughter-in-law points by hemming some pants for my FIL so he’ll have comfies to wear as he recuperates from surgery. yay me.
Bean soup for supper, when I get around to it. Meanwhile, I’ll knit and chill. Not much else to do on a soggy day.
Dreary and soggy here as well. The power went out for about half an hour even. Weird. That’s pretty much the excitatement from swampland.
Happy Caturday Mumpers
68f/21c here in Houston and sunny, thinking about going for a motorcycle ride.
Sorry to all in the dreary and cold.
Capt
Dreary, windy and extremely soggy here.
Today is the big 'Hawks v. Saints game. This weather works in our favor against Drew Bees. Hopefully, our power stays on. There are many people without power right now.
Got some “fake” dry cleaning going on the dryer right now; another load of clothes washing, dishes washing, and have done some general picking up.
Yesterday was taken up with errands for settling MiL’s estate and taking down Christmas. Yes, I was a little late with taking down the tree and decorations; we’ve been very busy. :o
Hubby will be taking off soon to rent a trailer to haul the tree and some yard debris to the dump. Tomorrow, he’ll utilize the trailer again and haul actual trash stuff to the dump.
Well, back to chores.
Holy crap - the sky just opened up here!!! No thunderboomers, but much rainage falling from above!!
**FCD **has rescheduled his return to next Firday, arriving in DC on Sat morning. I get to pick him up at Union Station 7:20 in the AM. Then we’ll go out to breakfast and come home and resume what passes for normal in our lives.
The sun peaked out for a bit but went back to hidin’. I’m startin’ to feel a little hongry. I’m ready for me some Sylvester style Eyetalian food!
