Blurfy checks date Thursday. Mr. Jyxster had a good birfday (I think). Gots him a mini-chocolate torte and a candle that looks like the number 4, because he is “that many”. At least it will be reusable for 4 more years. Should have topped the cake with Cheeze Whiz. HA! Though I think if I did that, we might be talking divorce.
Ah, looks like a cousin of those spreadable cheesy things one should not read the composition of… specially out loud, too many polysyllabic words and alphanumeric codes.
I have to admit that sometimes cheez whiz squished on a cracker tastes good. So does that rotel dip. They’re guilty pleasures and secret shames.
I et some cereal, had some oj, took some daytime keep me awake stuff and had a nice hot shower. The shower felt especially good and right now I don’t sound like I might hack up any vital organs so maybe I’m on the mend.
Listenin’ to a conference call with the phone on mute so’s they can’t hear me cough and the neighbor doin’ whatever the heck it is he’s doin’. Sounds like a woodchipper. All’s I know is it’s noisy!
Chuck E. Cheese is one of the scariest places on earth. The mouse is creepy as in clown creepy!
I’m trying to wake up but it’s hard. If my bladder isn’t waking me up at night then Sah-dogs is, and then the HoundsFromHell thunder through the house at 4am.
I have to let hellpup out today.
So much to do so why am I not doing it?
I keep putting it off hoping it will go away on it’s own.
Chuck E Cheese is the ugh! Their version of pizza is oily plastic goop on a cardboard crust.
It’s a frigging rat. One of those that closed down the Shack by dragging a rack of ribs across the floor in front of the Health Inspector. Big son of a bitch.
Hey, where did y’all go? I posted in 2010, and then everyone disappeared. {Of course, all things are relative, so it may look like I disappeared, but YMMV.}
Bobbio great MMP start. Hope things go well with your impending internal rearrangings.
Swampy are you still making that beer & lime concoction monstrosity?
anyrose I came across a post you made back in 2007 while googling this Velveeta shortage http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=423583&page=2 We should talk. Tony and I worked together in Va Beach in the '80s, and Seth’s 50th is pending. Big festivities are lined up for that. Did you get any of your childhood Christmas pictures into their video last year?
I really have to get back into the MMP habit again. I really missed you guys.
*Please excuse any coding errors. I’m out of practice, as you can probably tell.
Work has not yet been rained off today- and there’s actual sun out again, so I guess it’s not going to be today. I should probably get dressed and away hence!
Sean!!! I was just thinkin’ about you last week. A friend made a crack about bein’ the typical middle aged white guy.
I am not makin’ lime flavored beer. I am now tryin’ to get old folks jobs and trainin’. It’s as weird as it sounds.
I survived the conference call. Ok, I read the Dope durin’ most of it. Neighbor has ceased whatever that was he was doin’. I may go lie down a while as I feel a little ick. Or not. I do have skettie sauce simmerin’ in the slow cooker. Feels like a sketties kind of day.
Busy, busy, busy at work. I’m always busy, so I guess that’s nothing new.
Well, I must prep for yet another three hour clinical business forum. I hate these stupid things. They shouldn’t last more than an hour and they always, always, always go over.
MMPers Mysteriously Returning after the password hack are suspicious.
Where where you on January 7, 2014?
Have you ever sent email from Nigeria?
Swampy, Rosie, do you vouch for this guy? Come to think of it, where were you guys on January 7 ? :dubious:
I can vouch for Sean. Matter of fact Rosie, Sean, and I were at the… ummmm… opera, yes, that’s it, the opera all day on January 7th. We do that every January 7th. We spend the entire day at the opera.
Actually, it was the hack email I received that reminded me how barren my life is without the weekly dose of randomness that is the MMP. And then when I saw that Rosie and I have a mutual friend (or possibly friends - the lad she speaks of in her olden post is happily married) I figured that Serendipity has decided to send me back home.
And BTW, it was a great opera. You really should have been there.
