Yep, I knew someone would mention that sooner or later. I noticed it when I was writing it, but I didn’t feel like going back and changing it. I figured I’d risk looking like an idiot in front of the other Dopers. 
Besides, call me weird, but I just thought that addressing Searching with the whole name sounded kind of funny. But that’s probably just me…

Irishman, I wish. That’s what I thought originally, but then I asked her sraight out it what I thought happened actually did, and she said “no”. 
My advice is (because we all know how valuable my advice is cough cough) to really try to get her to tell the bf.
If she absolutely refuses to admit it, that can be hard, I know. But when it comes down to it? I think the boyfriend deserves to know. From her, preferably, but if that is impossible, from you.
Well, When someone tells you these things and your SO lies/leaves out part of the truth (yes it’s the same thing, but some people don’t get that) and tells you it’s not true, it’s hard to decide who to believe. Especially if you’ve been with your SO for awhile and you trust them. You run the risk of him not believing you, her shunting the blame off herself by wondering out loud “why you would say such a thing, there must be an ulterior motive”…
Is it worth it to tell when you were not there and can’t be 100% sure what happened?

Leave it alone. For one thing you are taking the word of the friend that was with them at the movies, so you aren’t exactly an eye witness except for when they had their arms around each other. I’ve done that before very innocently, you can’t always judge from what you see. I’d stay out of it. If the old boyfriend truly has deep feelings for this girl then he won’t believe you anyway, whether it’s true or not. So you’ll lose both friendships. It’s always best, speaking from past experiences, to stay out of other people’s personal relationships. Love is blind.
You told us to keep you guys posted so here we are… It’s her last goddamned day here and who knows how long it’ll be till we see her again, and what does she do? She goes and she plans an outing with some friends of hers that are OUR friends too and she doesn’t tell either me or Lady Juliet what’s going on! It’s not like she wouldn’t have been able to get in touch with us… both of us have a phone AND E-mail AND AIM. Me and Juliet have been good friends with her for three fucking years and we’ve stood up for her and stayed with her through all her shit and LOOK AT WHAT SHE’S DOING TO US. Stupid stupid bitch… Juliet went to the airport at 9:30 at night to go and get her from the godforsaken airport and had to wait till 11 for that stupid selfish asshole to get there when Juliet had summer school the next day, and then Juliet let her into her home and fed her for two days and drove her to a concert, and then that little idiot bitch does that to her… I don’t even know why I put up with her shit anymore. I’ve tried to be patient and see her side in this whole thing that happened last week but GOD I don’t know why I even BOTHER. :mad: Piece of shit now my blood is boiling and I don’t know what to do
