I was surprised not to see anything about it here. I think it’s going to go down in history as an iconic image.

I was thinking “I want to speak to the manager”.
I did see it mentioned here somewhere. I think the people in that image were compared to the Walking Dead.
The Walking BrainDead. I’m confident many of those protesting are not protesting because they’re genuinely concerned about the economy, or people’s well being, but because they’ve listened to people like Alex Jones and think the virus is a government hoax, it doesn’t exist, and all of the deaths are staged, to, I guess, make us stay at home for a few weeks while the government destroys the economy, devalues the dollar, and administers martial law. I see a picture like that, read the caption, and ignore the associated story. I’m not interested.

Indeed. Although he said it was his third choice of the eight or so he took in that quick burst. I think his editor knew better.
How can you tell without having seen the other seven?
It is mentioned in this pit thread.
(I brought up in that sub-thread (but got no responses) “Is the blonde zombie one of the women from that Trump rally photo? I’m thinking bottom left.” Any opinions on that?)
Yes, in the other thread I compared it to the iconic Vietnam War photo of napalmed children, by Nick Ut. I could have cited several other representative-of-their-time images; that Time Magazine site offers the stories of many such.
Interchangeable. You’ve seen one Trump zombie, you’ve seen 'em all.

Apparently the woman on the left is running for a seat in the state senate—

It’s fabricated, self-aggrievement. It makes stupid people feel important.
I think this will do better in the Pit.

I think they look like monkeys in a zoo, screaming at nothing they understand.
In a Station of the Metro.
The apparition of these faces in the crowd:
Petals on a wet, black bough.

This was the first version I saw.
And it’s no surprise that her position is that the Governor’s actions are an unconstitutional overreach, but Trump has all the authority and can do no wrong. And if Trump doesn’t have good enough arguments to convince states to take action, he should just override them and force them to do it.
Waaait a minute … aren’t those the same things they were accusing Obama the Illegitimate of doing?
As I told someone on Twitter (who promptly blocked me for it), “States rights, dude. Not just for white supremacist assholes.”
